Very nice breakfast options, good quality even though purchased rather than made on premises. Lovely house, very clean and all codes worked perfectly. Very nice to have off street parking.

Unfortunately, the couple across the hall cursed, yelled and laughed until 3am. Their TV went on at 5:30 am and then more cursing. Since the house does not have a live in manager/owner, there was nothing to do about it, especially since the voice cursing was male and aggressive. I am only happy they did not get up for breakfast and we left without having to meet them.

The house was charming and quite comfortable. It was within walking distance of several restaurants and cafes. It was nice to have a mini-fridge and wine glasses in the room.

The breakfast, while perfectly adequate, was reminiscent of mid range chain motels, with toast-your-own waffles and cinnamon bread and bagels. As there was no proprietor present, I recommend they provide a “welcome “ flyer with some information about staying there…such as using the hot tub, and some info about breakfast. As it was, we had to just speculate that there would be food available in the morning, as there was a fridge and toasters in the kind of small kitchen.

Quiet and clean, lovely house, good location to walk in the historic district, very short drive to the Caverns, nice continental breakfast.

While the arrival and check-in was very easy self-service, it was our first time to the area and all was unfamiliar; it was unexpected to enter a residential house in an unfamiliar neighborhood and have no one there. We were completely on our own which was nice in a way but also a bit odd/ spooky. I think more welcoming materials or information in the listing or posted at the entry would help set expectations.

Full of character, very well managed so check in code was given in good time and everything we needed was provided. Host was available at breakfast time to check all was ok. The location is great for Luray caverns and Shenandoah, there are good eateries close by, it was quiet and comfortable. We liked it a lot.

Only small thing was the spa pool had some floating bits in, but this is completely outweighed by all the other positives about the stay.

The Hawksbill House is a very nicely decorated old home that is very cozy and comfortable. The property manager lives nearby and was helpful through texts and in house visits to make sure that everything was fine with my stay. Tbere was a nice continental breakfast waiting for me when I got up. I visited in the winter where there are not as many guests but I understand the facility can get quite full during the summer tourist season. I would recommend this Guesthouse as one to consider when visiting luray.

It’s a lovely home. Very quiet, Breakfast choices were tasty. Easy parking rooms were upstairs, no elevator, remember it’s a home. The hot tub was in the back yard but there’s no private fence to yard. easy to communicate with staff by text, very helpful. We will definitely recommend this home.

It was no big deal to us, but if I would of wanted to use the hot tub I would of wanted it to be more private to neighboring homes and businesses.

Waking up to freshly made coffee & yogurt, provided promptly at 7:45 a.m. Ease of in/out with codes, both at front and back doors, as well as coded lock on each bedroom door. Nice walking path and great breakfast at Broad porch coffee company one block away. Great value for room and access to common areas. Bed comfortable. Nice bathroom. Clean and tastefully decorated.

Mostly purchased and left over breakfast breads. Egg bake in refrigerator for you to microwave nothing special. Area not ready for tourists, with very few restaurants open with extended hours. Blue ridge room (downstairs) right off a common sitting room & next to driveway… aware when owners arrived in a.m.

Great location, close to the Luray caves,brewery, Walmart and gas station. The house has super easy access we had no problems with anything. The room is super clean, with everything we needed. The hot tub is a plus, we took advantage of it at the end of the night to relax. The breakfast is perfect. Anyway, my husband and I were very happy with our stay, and as the house is cute. We will come back and recommend our friends for sure! Thank you very much for making our weekend even more special

Exceptional location, close to everything we wanted to visit in Luray. Water pressure was amazing! You must visit Dan’s steak house and Jess’ Main Street bar and grill. Owner was very good at communicating and was very kind to let us arrive early. He was right on top of breakfast and cleaning up dishes.

Being in town you can hear the firehouse siren pretty loudly, but luckily it didn’t bother us too late at night. I’m a bit of a neat freak, so I didn’t give the highest cleanliness rating.
