Beautiful location and rooms!

We had issues with checking in. They said Booking.com canceled our room, and they didn't have anything else available! Turned us away. We had just traveled 4 hrs to get there and was devistated. We contacted Booking.com, who confirmed that they did NOT cancel anything. They spoke to the receptionist and suddenly found us a room.Not the view we intended, but still a relief we were not stranded.

everything the beds were comfy great pillows. everything was super clean and the bed linen and towels were fluffy and smelt clean. The restaurant had great very reasonable priced food We ate breakfast there every morning. Great pool we were in everyday and the water smelt clean We loved the location and our room had a balcony and we sat out there everyday and watched the golfers and the view was beautiful. We felt that we had great value for our money. would recommend

No elevator I have bad knees but the view was worth alittle pain

My room was clean and had a nice view out to the golf course.

The rooms have been renovated nicely but the walls are paper thin so you can hear conversations of the people in the room next to you. The Grille charged me $2.75 for a soda water. When I questioned it they said anything coming from the soda fountain is charged. I’m not sure if actual sodas cost the same or more but I have never been charged for a soda water off the fountain. of course if it’s a bottle or can, I understand that, but not the fountain.

This place is a hidden gem! we loved the Mountain View and balcony from our room and the high ceilings! It is not super fancy but it is clean, comfy & so charming! we loved the restaurant too as you can order anything you want as they are listed as sides. the view from the restaurant is awesome from anywhere you sit as well. The location is great as right next to Luray Caverns and the entrance to famous scenic drive through the mountain tops! This will be a stop on our drives to Florida from Boston. We will definitely go back! @GreenScreenGal

The pool side room was very comfortable and clean. The check-in process was smooth and easy.

The restaurant on the property served mediocre food that you could probably make at home and it would taste much better. The bartender was fantastic and made me a great margarita alternative when they ran out of triple sec.

The room was great, nicely apportioned and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. For a relatively last-minute booking, the price was very fair for the area. It's small in that you aren't wrestling through a lobby of people to get your check-in which was nice, almost a boutique feel despite being on the grounds of a golf course with a fleet of carts apparently. I am not a golfer, stayed because we were sightseeing around Shenandoah County, and I would go back again.

Older pipes sometimes had some drainage problems but nothing two minutes of maintenance couldn't fix. A reminder to all: don't flush anything weird into a toilet. We didn't, but I suspect someone did.

Very, very clean! Old motel but recently remodeled - new carpet, paint, bathroom floor tile, tub and shower surround. No old motel smell. Walls are thin but guests were quiet after 10:00. Golf course was great fun, and Miller Grill's food was good. We had basic pub fare, burgers, steak and cheese, etc., that was very good. Portions were just right - and prices were good. Price for lodging was excellent. Beautiful setting.

Heater was having problems, but maintenance was there in 15 minutes to fix it. Returned next day (without even asking them) to check it. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner - not provided.

Location, view of the mountains, ease of accessing room, even though there was no elevator (that fact was published so I knew) Staff on grounds especially at Miller's Grille were wonderful. Food was exceptional and very reasonable.

AC was difficult to keep controlled. In the AM I heard small feet scampering overhead (I was hoping it was squirrels!) I was on the 2nd floor.

Pretty landscaping and historic house, beautiful views, the pool looked nice. Good room AC and dehumidifier, comfortable room temp, easy to adjust. Nice hot shower, fluffy towels. Food and drinks at Miller's Grille on site tasty and a good value.

Bed too soft, pillows very heavy.

Wonderful place to stay. There was also a restaurant on site and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this resort and I would definitely stay again. .
