Hyatt Regency Reston

I checked in, having left another hotel nearby, and was immediately at ease. I was in the process of moving with a broken foot. I had a lot of luggage. They insisted on helping me. At every turn someone was helpful, from housekeeping to the restaurant to the front desk and even staff circulating. (My prior experience, nobody offered any help as I struggled with a luggage cart in and out of the hotel). The room was spacious, well-decorated and great for setting up to work. The hot tub was a welcome relief. The restaurant staff was incredibly friendly and knew their menu well! Especially the bar side. What started as a stop while moving across state lines, turned into a staycation.

Construction was going on and many of us were moved to the back of the hotel because of noise. Back of the hotel has terrible view of parking lots and mechanical stuff. I paid for four star with a view and I could have stayed in a less expensive hotel . it is dishonest not to warn guests. I heard several complaints at the desk from an airline crew who said the same thing. I may cancel the next date I have.

the rooms were spacious and clean

there is no quick food nearby OR in the hotel!! not even a sundry shop to grab a quick yogurt, or waterbottle. there is no place to get breakfast and the hotel doesn’t serve any type of continental or anything! I found this extremely difficult given I was there by myself for a dance convention with my 10 year old and I couldn’t leave her. the parking garage was so full so I didn’t want to leave which meant that I had to hike it down to Starbucks in the cold or do expensive door dash or Uber eats. come on Hyatt! Get something going over there so people don’t starve!

My friend and I attended a retirement get together at a restaurant in Reston Town Center. Both of us live about one hour away, so we planned to stay at the Hyatt instead of driving after a glass of wine or while tired. The hotel was clean, the staff was extremely friendly, and the room was very comfortable!

Location , food is good

It takes a little longer to clean my room and since it was too late afternoon , I just request fresh towels , water and coffee . I believe that your hotel,during that time were quite busy and but I made myself comfortable and easy , so I understand the situation. Front desk staff were helpful to me . But I always love to stay at any of the Hyatt hotels wherever I visit . Thank you

The staff are always very courteous and smiling

I love Hyatt so much but there is one important suggestion which I was very much affected during my stay lately .....PLEASE SERVICE YOUR AIR CONDITION FILTER AS IT AGGRAVATED MY ALLERGY SO MUCH . Friends who came to visit me in my room, git affected too,kept sneezing and coughing due to the air inside the room. Please have your filter change .

everything was very clean, we got the connected rooms we prefer for having our kids close, we got flexibility for a reasonable late check out, our kids enjoyed the pool.

the breakfast to the room could be better. guess that providing baggs/take away is still a consequence of the pandemic, but this could do better if compared to similar alternatives.

This place is amazing the staff the rooms and just everything I give it a 20, 10 is not good enough. We asked for water in the middle of the night done! No question asked, my cc had some trouble they didn't call to embarrass me I discovered this by receiving a text and taking care of it and not a negative remark was made.

The parking Should be free.

Location was great. Reston Town Center has great restaurants and shops within walking distance to hotel. Room was a nice size and bed was comfortable.

Pillows not comfortable at all. Rock hard, so if you can bring your own, I suggest doing so.

I am head of safety and security for Hayfield Secondary school. We had our prom at your location. I met with hotel security and briefed them. They were super receptive and helpful. The prom was fantastic. I stayed overnight just in case. It was great. My wife Ann was an original staff member when hotel opened.
