The staff was very accommodating, really friendly, helpful, professional and kind. I love the women at the front desk. We got a free upgrade on the room. The room was huge, clean, comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The downtown location was great, about 20 minutes to the Capitol building. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby too. This hotel offers a hot breakfast (omelet, sausage etc.). Other options are also available (fruits, juice, cereals, yogurt, cream cheese, jam, toast, bagels, muffins, etc.). The cinnamon rolls are delicious!

The room was huge, clean and air conditioning worked well. We had a lovely view out of the 6th floor window of the city skyline. The downtown location was great, about a 10 minute walk to the civil war museum, 20 minutes to the capitol building. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby too. Breakfast was nice, hot options as well as bagels and cereal. Overall a good place to stay. Really friendly staff.

I really don't like that this hotel uses disposable plastic cutlery and plates at breakfast, it's so very wasteful and terrible for the environment. I've noticed everywhere we have stayed on this trip does this though 😞. In our room there was a coffee maker and some tea bags but no way of actually making tea as no kettle.

Housekeeping was exceptional. Ever since Covid, the hotels I've stayed at, I've barely received service. This was not the case here. The hotel was very clean. The front desk person was friendly and efficient. A microwave, fridge, and safe were provided. Hot breakfast (eggs, sausage...) were available.

The noise on Saturday. Terrible neighbors. Several people on my floor were partying it up until 3 am.

Ms. Barbara was amazing and patient. The young man on 11/23/22 night shift check out was patient and very helpful while dealing with multiple situations. The two young ladies at breakfast were so patient and helpful. My hands were full and the maintenance man went out of his way to get the elevator for me!! 👍 The beds were soooo comfortable!!! Driving down from Pennsylvania was very tiring in holiday traffic.

That I had to leave.. I wanted to stay with my family.

the only thing I didn’t like was whoever checked me in didn’t actually tell me how to get to my room so I was just wandering for a bit but that’s not a big deal I was just confused and I only point it out because someone else was wandering too

The room was perfect for our needs. We needed 2 double beds. The parking garage was very accessible with needed ingress and egress as needed for quick trips. The room ate and the parking rate were reasonable. The breakfast was hot and just fine. The room was very comfortable. We didn't use the shower (just a one night stay) but I am not sure that the bottles of shower gel and shampoo bottles to the shower wall contained any product. My companion thought the toilet rocked when used; I didn't notice that. If I had I would have mentioned it when we checked out.

Location is very good, quite central and still in a quiet area. Staff was exceptional, very friendly, helping me with all questions. Room was large, quiet, good airconditioned. Breakfast is simple, but good. It's a nice stay for good price.

Location is close to restaurants and bars. Parking is underneath the hotel, very convenient. Hotel was very clean. Room was large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, wonderful!

Front desk was AWESOME!!!! very professional and knowledgeable.

The breakfast area was a good size and also very clean. The coffee section did NOT have regular cream but only vanilla and hazelnut which was disappointing. Oh, I only had 1 roll of toilet paper BUT I did not let anyone aware.

Very close to VCU in downtown where my daughter is a student.

Breakfast was just ok, same food Saturday and Sunday. Coffee was not that good. TV did not work in our room on Friday night, but someone came to fix it on Saturday so that was much appreciated.
