Hampton Inn Richmond - Airport

This is a great hotel for anyone traveling--reliable and free of charge airport shuttle each way, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly front desk staff, and a decent free breakfast (the hot items [sausage, eggs, and a wafflemaker] are a plus, in addition to the typical continental breakfast fare of yogurt, bananas, muffins, and cereal, etc.). It's an airport hotel, of course, but it wasn't especially noisy. I would stay here again.

The only bummer is the fact that the area is a virtual food desert for people without a car, but we made do with the hot food made to order options at Wawa. There's also a Sheetz going up across from Wawa. But with four airport hotels on the same street, I'd say this area is prime real estate for restaurant development--it's pretty necessary.

Location was very convenient for coming/going from the airport, and getting on the highway. Staff was friendly, shuttle bus driver was friendly. Breakfast was very good.

Shuttle bus driver should learn that many rental car customers have to check in at the counters INSIDE the terminal. Sending us directly to the outside location is probably only good for frequent car renters that need to check in.

I left my phone in the room and the maid turned it in. I was so thankful since I had no idea I left it there until later in the day after I had checked out. It's so nice to know there are still honest people and appreciate her honesty. She had already left when I went back to get it to thank her. The staff at the desk were nice and the breakfast was good.

Price. Room was a little pricey for hotel that was somewhat outdated but was clean and I would stay again.

Breakfast was good. Convenient location. Comfortable room.

The price I was charged on my credit card was higher than the price booking.com told me plus they would not give me a reciept.

Left before breakfast. Shuttle to airport picked us up at 4:00 am for our 6:15 am departure, every thing went smooth.

Ho w clean and friendly the staff was and how the store and restaurants where close to the hotel. I am coming back to stay for our vacation.

There was nothing, I did not like. Everything met my expectations.

Hot breakfast was good (eggs only fair) with an excellent variety. Stayed for 6 days, had a couple of issues which were resolved immediately. Staff was polite, professional, and helpful.

Pool was closed.

I liked the breakfast and the location. I also liked the staff working to coordinate shuttle service to the airport at 4:00am.

Bathroom door handle was broken and would not latch Coffee maker was broken

Staff extremely knowledgeable and professional .

Parking in rear of building requires you to walk all the way around to the front as the card reader is not working I stayed here I February and had the same problem.

Location great fit for our travels. The desk staff at both stays was exceptional.
