Holiday Inn Express Richmond Airport, an IHG Hotel

The Guest service rep was awesome. She made us feel at ease while we were checking in and gave us all the information about Wi-Fi, breakfast, and amenities. The breakfast was great and had a variety of choices to choose from. I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn Express the courtesy of the staff made my stay worthwhile!

The Business Center could use a printer to assist guest with their printing needs.

Outstanding staff and a good location are the highlights here. The rooms are comfortable, with plenty of space, good lighting, and strong HVAC. The breakfast was utilitarian, but the area was kept immaculate by the manager. A free shuttle is a quick and easy ride to RIC.

If you don’t have a car, your dining choices are limited. In my case, it was either of two gas stations.

My mom was staying at another holiday inn in mechanicsville (sp?) and she said my hotel room was bigger and nicer.

I like it when hotels have the shower head where you can have a little detachment type one, but that’s just my opinion. Shower was ok, did the job.

The room was very clean and smelled so good. They also had Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner so I didn't have to use my own.

I can't say anything bad except one of the elevators were sketchy. It was definitely scary and we got off of it and waited for the other one. Overall though it was very nice place to stay.

Good food but almost the same every day.

Walk in to check in and the computer system crash. The lady at the counter don’t said a word . So I has to ask what happen and then she explained was going on. Told to come back like an hour or so. No good impresión to start with.

loose toilet seat, truck/boat parking was a little tight. Outdoor electrical connection was being sprayed by sprinklers when trying to disconnect. Even at this price point, people still “smoking” in their rooms.

The breakfast was quite good, and the location was perfect for our needs...attending a family funeral.

I would have found it helpful to have a light above, or on, the desk area. I needed to hunch over the coffee table to do some work, so I had enough light. I would have appreciated one more pillow.

I thought the location near the airport was great. The room and lobby were very clean. Our favorite part was the staff person who worked at the breakfast buffet. She was absolutely lovely and deserved an A+ for hospitality. She talked highly of the food and the cinnamon rolls- we loved them. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at near the airport in Richmond.

I think the price was a little high for the room but after Covid, hotels, etc. have been higher in price.

Immediately entering the property i noticed how clean it was!! Sherry at the front desk was so kind and helpful. The room was very clean and cozy. We took the 5am shuttle to the airport, the shuttle driver was very nice. i would recommend this property to family, friends, and colleagues!

The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The maidservice was very accommodating as I needed plunger and they were quick to assist
