Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Alexandria West/Mark Center

It was a good location for visiting Washington DC yet having free overnight parking. There were plenty of spaces available so no worries about arriving later and having to look for a spot. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. There were plenty of food options in the area and we found a great local diner (Barnside Diner) across the road that we will be visiting again.

The walls were not so insulated from neighbour noises and I could hear the TV from another room in the evening although not loud enough for me to ask for any adjustments. But if you are a light sleeper, perhaps a set of earplugs would help with the possible noises from adjacent rooms.

I like how the room was set up. I liked the service that was provided. I liked the location as well. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at IHOP in the morning.

It is hard to say what I didn’t like because it was a comfortable stay. I only stayed for one night which is not long. I will definitely stay again in the near future because everything was in order.

Another wonderful stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Alexandria. My room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. There is plenty of free parking, and very convenient for getting into DC with I-395 nearby. There were also many convenient restaurants, groceries, and diners around. Also included was a breakfast voucher for the attached IHOP next door. Very convenient all around, I would stay again.

I had a lovely experience here. The rooms were nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. The bathroom and shower were excellent as well. The guy in the front desk was very courteous and even ran after me in the rain to suggest a better (dry) parking spot. All in all, this was one of the best hotel experiences I had in the DC area.

The receptionist when I checked in was very kind and good to me. Laundry is free. Parking is free. Breakfast is great.

I can't say my room was clean this time around. Usually when I stay here, the rooms are very clean.

Nigel was excellent he was very accommodating and very easy going with the process my flight landed about an hour early and he let me check in hours before checkin which was absolutely amazing due to the fact I had an red eye flight room was comfortable and clean smelled good hotel was very quite not loud and disturbing next to many food places all in walking distance which was an amazing plus

The staff was very accommodating. Great customer service was provided especially upon check in.

The free breakfast through IHOP is a good idea. Send like it could flow a little better. Limited free food options offered and not all were available.

the last night the airco started leaking water and wet the carpet. we reported that upon checkout and the frontdesk clerk was very appreciative of that. Gave the impression he would take action immediately.

The staff was amazing!!

A lot of the parking was blocked off so you have to search for a parking space. The location was kinda weird in my opinion but super close to the highway!

Rooms are clean and also bathroom ect.

Whenever someone stays at this hotel they get breakfast from ihop and their servers seems to be very rude with the guests just for the simple thought of us getting breakfast for free. Also the from desk person is never there one has to be calling for them to come out and help.
