Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Town Center

Breakfast had great variety. Rooms are very modern even a peep hole with a panoramic view! The TV was large with a swivel and great sound. Loved the large windows and modern screens instead of curtains. Bed was super comfortable and firm. I liked the swivel lamps and adjustable desk chair. The bathroom is modern with low step shower and room to move around including a foot step and hand grab bar. Loved the high rised sink and super soft towels and wash cloths. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Although it is not a deal breaker for me I wish I had a better view than facing other rooms. It's just the construction of the building. There was no microwave in the room. I didn't enjoy the direct TV and internet bc it went out for a few minutes and was experiencing delays and lagging. Direct TV is not good for people who work remotely. I will definitely stay again though.

Centrally located to Norfolk, the Oceanfront and great shopping at the malls. Easy to find, and located in a safe neighborhood. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, and the pre-portioned Grab-n-go hot breakfast was a great touch especially during Covid times.

A little too much road noise could be heard from the rooms facing Independence Blvd, making it loud in the morning. You could hear constant dog barking from people who traveled with their pets. Perhaps reserve a certain section of the hotel for those traveling with pets to limit disturbances to other guests.

The breakfast was not very good the first day. The sausage patties were cold and dry and the toaster was not working correctly.

We set our reservations online; however, it did not allow us to show for senior citizens, disabled retired military, or any extra. Additionally, we were put on the front of the building with traffic of Independence Blvd right below. Sleep was difficult until about midnight or later. Finally, and not trying to pick on you guys, the hot water in the shower only lasts for one person not two.

The room was comfortable and clean.

I picked this hotel because I knew it had a small restaurant where I could grab a quick bite of dinner. Unfortunately, no one told me the kitchen was closed the night I stayed. In fact the staff person, who told me the kitchen was closed, came out of the kitchen with food in her hand. She told me the kitchen was closed.. no reason given.. all while she was eating something she had gotten from the kitchen! She didn't ask about what I might want to eat, nor did she offer any suggestions about local restaurants.. she just continued to eat..

This location was amazing with all the different shopping  plazas to  choose from both me and my wife where like kids in a candy store wow and minutes away from the beach and the night life at the hotel was good as well we met so Many nice people from all over the world and surrounding areas. Definitely will be back. Thank you.

Maybe the pool can be heated 😂maybe asking for to much.

The queen beds and pillows were very comfortable. . The pool was great. The breakfast was excellent as well. We had a very nice stay and would stay again.

Reguardless of these few small issues we were very happy with our stay. We had no working fan in the bathroom. Also the toilet tank wouldn't hold water as the flapper kept disconnecting and my dad fixed it several times. Easy fix. The hide a bed needed memory foam, wasn't very comfy.

The hotel was clean and in good repair and the breakfast area was very nice, roomy with real plates and utensils. That may seem minor but I really don’t like eating with paper plates and plastic utensils that can’t even cut a muffin.

There wasn’t a ton of parking beside the building except for handicapped and the rest of the parking lot was shared with other businesses. It wasn’t so much feeling unsafe as worried about leaving my vehicle in an open parking area with no separation from anyone driving by.

Everything was lovely! You can tell they keep the building sanitized.

The only part about our stay was the light skinned girl in the kitchen. She was very very rude. My son asked about utensils and she said so snappy and loud... OVER THERE!!! It took everything in me not to go off. Then the next morning, we came down to breakfast and she put out 6 little sausage links and went to talk to two ladies in the eating area. No food was being put out and it was around 9:20. I asked my son to ask the other girl will they put more food out by them closing at 10, she said no we close at 9:30. My brother nor my fiance got anything to eat. I was very unpleased with her..

Hyatt Place in VA Beach was excellent - it felt new and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were two computers with free internet in the foyer, which was rather convenient.

I was disappointed at the absence of a laundry room. I had to drive 15 min one way to a laundromat on Sunday. That was unexpected and disappointing. A lock on our bathroom door was broken. Only 4 towels were provided at the room with a 6-person occupancy. The front desk gave me extra 2 towels per request though.

The hotel was accommodating to our family needs is which I am so grateful for. When I had a problem they were able to help immediately. They are friendly and nice.

I had problems finding towels and having them to restock them as well during one of the cleaning services. otherwise, if I needed more towels I’d just go ask for more by walking down tot the front desk to ask for more which was a little inconvenient because I had little children who I was washing and realize there wasn’t enough towels for the whole family. so if there is a way to get service for that would be great.
