SpringHill Suites by Marriott Norfolk Virginia Beach

The hotel is nice. The breakfast, pool, and gym were great. The staff was friendly. The hallways smelled fresh.

Our room was good, but the wallpaper wasn't put on right and you could see the adhesive all over the wall. There was also something on the other wall. It looked like the contractor did a rush job. The room is a good size . The couch Looked great and is functional because it can be used as a sofa bed, but it also has a trundle pull out. If you need something firm, this is for you, if not, just sit on the bed. Overall, this will be a go-to for future quick trips. It always helps when your room is clean, has the linens, and extra toiletries.

The staff was really great after we were able to get checked in, even though we requested an earlier check in time. I absolutely loved the dining staff like Pia & the guy who made the omelets provided us with information for non-regular tourists sites and great places to eat. Everyone was really friendly and helpful from front staff, housekeeping and the dining staff.

We were in room 419 and door was extremely heavy( like a fire door) and it was stuck so bad that we had to really push/pull really hard to open/push hard to close the door. My husband is 6'4" and 200+ had to give effort to open/close the door completely. It's a fire hazard. That's my only complaint.

The breakfast was nice on weekends. The dining area was nice. The location for what we did worked out really well. Everything was within about 20 minutes of the hotel.

The breakfast on the Monday morning we were there other that the fresh made omelets the prepackaged Gas Station style sandwiches was a disappointment. I understand you're short staffed but I didn't see anyone walking around wiping the tables off where people sat and ate. And with the current state of the diseases going around that made me a little concerned.

The breakfast was mazing, and the staff was on top of it restocking the food; and it was cooked amazingly. The room was nice and cold when i came in and clean. My room was perfect for my family I had no issues while I was staying here. I would come back again!

The only thing I didn't like is the other guests being disrespectful and inconsiderate.

I really enjoyed my stay here. the room was big and it was my daughters bday and she really enjoyed herself. Our rooms were 2 doors down and that made me as a mom feel more secure. The staff was very nice and plesant and the food was great!! Loved the omelets made to order. They all make sure you say "Goodmorning".

The girls complained about the pool having a high chlorine level.

The property was in an alright location to event we were attending.- Had a beautiful lobby and had a workable pool.

Dirty room, tons of construction and tore up roads, very small pool and was told had to make a reservation and could only use for 30 minutes. Breakfast needed to be offered earlier especially when the hotel knows that wrestlers need a good breakfast and it was being served after we already had to be at the Sports Plex- so could not take advantage of this amenity. Free breakfast was one of the reason we had booked here’s.

The breakfast was the main reason why we chose this hotel. I like the updated rooms and the amenities of the hotel Check in was smooth.

Breakfast wasn't as great as before. The omelets station was working in the kitchen, instead. It was awkward. We stil relieved good service just a minor inconvenience.

staff was friendly and polite...outstanding food and service at breakfast...very clean large and comfortable room...staff went out of their way to meet our requests and inquiries...

some of the tables could use some work...a bit wobbly and the tops rotated with very little effort...more high seats and tables....

Breakfast was awesome and staff was great with serving up and the friendliness of the staff.

The room wasn't clean on the floor, it was dead roaches behind bed and inside the bathroom. The room had a Crack in the ceiling Also and the microwave was old looking inside of it.

Property was very clean and convenient for the purpose of my stay, I was there for my daughters national dance competition at the Sandler center. The beach was only 10 min away we was able to enjoy the attractions on our off days.
