Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Virginia Beach

the location was perfect. steps away from the beach

The pillows were terrible, like the leftovers they didn’t want to throw away from the big hotel across the street. they were the size of couch pillows. and there was no blankets or comforter on the bed just sheets so It wasn’t the best sleep. we thankfully had extra blankets in the car. bring your own pillows and blankets

Location close to the beach.. The parking attended was so sweet and helpful, the price.

The ground was covered with trash, clothes, and cigarette butts. The maid busted in 2x only knocking when entering.. not before, the ceiling was falling apart.. the rug was so dirty my socks were black, parking was hard to get, the pool opened at 830am and was woken up by screaming and music every morning.

Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We have stayed at many hotels and for cleanliness is most important for us. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was also very comfortable. Room had a refrigerator and microwave which was nice.

Location was not terrible but being my first time here seemed there was more going on around 21st Street. Parking was a little tight and I have a small car. First night was a little noisy after 10pm outside of the room.

Staff needs training on customer service in regard to greeting, friendly. Simple “Good morning” or “hello” when you start an interaction -makes a world of difference. Old playpen and bedside commode visibly just sitting next to hotel under garage area as you walk from your car. That was trashy looking. Simply needs to be thrown out.

The front desk staff was absolutely incredible. So friendly and made me feel instantly like family. They spoke highly of the GM and other staff and that was so refreshing. Fast check in too

I couldn’t stay. 😭 I was supposed to have a 4 night stay and due to a horrible family emergency I had to leave 18 hours into our stay.

A mistake was made by booking.com & after a half hour call to booking, they made a call to the main desk, a different room was provided .

The first room 250, the key card didn’t work, & it smelled musty, also found a giant cockroach in the bathroom. Second room 231 was clean & didn’t seem musty. Room was not cleaned at all during our 5 night stay , due to Covid?? Towels were delivered quickly when we asked the front desk or when housekeeping was by our room & they asked if we needed them. Overall satisfied with room & location to beach, shopping & entertainment.

The room was spacious and very clean for 4 adults and a baby. It was easy to get in touch with housekeeping for restock as they don't come to your room due to covid. The outdoor pool was nice and clean and it is across the street from the beach so it's easy to go back and forth from beach to room. Overall a nice stay and I would recommend.

The sister hotel is across street from the main hotel so there are no views. It is right on the main strip close walking distance to everything but a little congested

The air conditioning was the mvp of the stay. If you want to sleep in antarctic conditions, that's no problem! Even colder? Maybe; I didn't want to freeze to death so I didn't try. The parking attendant was absolutely kind and helpful! I read about cockroaches in reviews after booking the place a month or so ago, but I can say there wasn't even so much as an ant in that room. Very clean and so close to a variety of fun shops and the beach! Nice sized fridge for snacks/drinks This Ramada and the Ramada Plaza across the street share the same reception desk - at the Ramada Plaza. The receptionist was very nice and made check in/out very smooth. She was also very accommodating, giving us an extra blanket to use at the room.

Like most places you're going to stay at in Virginia Beach, the water pressure was not amazing. It's definitely workable, though. I also think it would be nice if the pool hours were posted on the outdoor pool, but you can find them in a binder at your room. Im not sure if the queen beds are actually queens or if I have some sort of a QueenXL bed at home. The wheelchair ramp from the parking garage to the balcony hallway was absolutely too steep for use with even the smallest patient being assisted up, and a danger to let them descend without assistance.

I loved the property being literally across the street from the beach! The outdoor pool was nice as well as the indoor pool! The room was nice, cozy, and very clean.

The only thing I wished was different was that we had received a different room. Our room was literally right over Sweet Frog so all we could see when we looked out the window was a big white roof and the tall Hilton down the street. A view of the pool or the street would have been nice. The room was great no complaints there just the location of the room.

The front desk lady Debbie was so unbelievable helpful and wonderful it was a pleasure to deal with her.

The other side of the hotel where are the car park as was beyond scary. There was the smell of marijuana in the air which is fair enough.It was really messy We did not feel safe or secure and moved across the road to beach side.
