It's overall good and well situated. The staff is friendly. And it's comfortable.

The TV 📺 right in the middle of the room.

clean room, complimentary breakfast options, complete kitchenette amenities, great location - lots of dining and shopping options around wharf, free bus shuttle in SW neighborhood that gets you to metro station and the bus stop for DC bus circulator for the famous landmarks

nightly/valet parking is expensive, hotel check-in is on the side of the wharf that is only only accessible to pedestrians, not for vehicles so we had a hard time dropping off our bags and we are big group - valet/hotel drop-off had limited trolleys during check-in time and no attendant to help us

The hotel had a great location, friendly staff, nice bar with cool pool table, great gym facilities, it was snice to have ice hold fruit water available all day after a long hot day of sight seeing. Hardworking cleaning service, bell staff. Room was comfortable, modern with great views.

The pool water could have been cleaner.. Pool was high used and water at times was grey and murky. Perhaps filters needed to be changes, or more pool shock added, should be easy to fix. But pool deck is cool, although pool is a bit on the small side. PLEASE--- add some umbrellas though, I prefer the shade and there is ZERO shade on the pool deck, just blasting DC sun.

Absolutely fantastic location! Some have complained about the breakfast but it was pretty expansive given the location and what you usually get in hotels in large cities [which, if you're lucky, is a muffin and tiny creamers that can be left out.] The staff was continually hustling to keep everything clean and well-stocked. No one in our group of six people wasn't able to find something good to eat. I can't have caffeine so I very much appreciated them having decaf coffee available. I do wish they would leave coffee station out somewhere all day. Pool table was nice. Staff always willing to answer questions. Couple rough spots in room [dented front of fridge, drawer that wouldn't close all the way, no "do not disturb sign] but on the whole solid. We were on third floor on city side during Easter weekend and street noise didn't bother us. Valet parking was a breeze and no problem getting the key to the car to get things we forgot in it. Car retrieved very quickly by friendly staff. At the end of the day, you're paying for the location, so everything else is gravy. 15 minute walk to so many things, including Tidal Basin and National Mall. Couple minutes to boat launch for water taxi to Georgetown &/or Alexandria [also recommend] :-D I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Price. lol. I wish the rooftop pool had been open but tough this time of year. Freshen up few issues in the room. Otherwise, it was super

The room was appropriate in amenities. It was clean and service was executed perfectly on a daily basis. Breakfast was excellent and convenient. The location is very active. The Wharf is a new destination with options of restaurants and hotels, as well as high foot traffic. It is also relatively close to main tourist attractions (we could easily walk back in the afternoon from the Lincoln Memorial to Wharf through MLK Memorial and the Tidal Basin). The SW Shuttle was also convenient and easy to use to get into downtown without using the Metro (it drops you next to the Air and Space Museum and the Mall).

The Wharf is also very busy and reservations must be made to enjoy most restaurants. At night, after the SW Shuttle closes, you must walk 10-13 minutes to return to the hotel from the nearest Metro stations. With 2 kids and a double stroller, the Metro ride and walk back was a bit inconvenient. If you rideshare back at night, it shouldn't be a problem. The room was a bit cramped after setting up a pack-and-play we needed, but it was otherwise fine and manageable.

Very grateful we were able to check in early at 930ish am on Sat morning. Our flight arrived at 730am and appreciative that the staff offered to check us in early and was able to grab breakfast and get some much needed sleep/rest in our 3 rooms. Also appreciated our 3 rooms were close to each other which made out stay more enjoyable. And we loved the location... the Wharf offerings and walking distance to many of our sightseeing destinations.

In 1 of our 3 rooms 438, the sofa bed didn't open fully because the bed frame was too long and rested on the tv stand so my adult daughter had to sleep in the partial open sofa bed.throughout her 7 night stay. She reported to the front desk on our 2nd night. She was offered a room change but on a different floor from our group. Daughter declined the offer.

great view. plenty of restaurants. convenient public transportation. a safe feeling about it. free breakfast buffet that had a good variety of food and plenty of it. even our child with food allergies found plenty to eat.

didn’t get the bedding we were expecting . were supposed to get 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. luckily one of the children was able to sleep on the small sofa that was in the room. hotel told us that the type of room we requested had been sold out for months and didn’t know why Booking sold the room to us.

Checkin and front desk staff were wonderful! They helped us get around town with ease. The hotel location was accessible to so many sites and the National Mall, including wonderful restaurants at the Wharf area. Breakfast was always dependable with good food options. Laundry facilities were appreciated.

The service at the bar was lack luster, very slow. The maid service was spotty since we didn't see them that often but we weren't in our room very much. Children were playing at the pool table, very loud and uncontrolled, which made it unpleasant to stay in the bar area to have cocktails. No one reprimanded the children's bad behavior and there were plenty of adults and staff around.

The breakfast was amazing. We have an extensive list of allergies in my family and their large selection accommodated everyone. They even offered gluten free oatmeal ,(confirmed it's only made with water and oats). It was extremely family and kid friendly. During breakfast they had the TV on kid friendly shows which kept my little ones entertained. Check in was a breeze. Front desk and breakfast staff was extremely friendly, helpful and I could tell they enjoyed what they do. It was 2 people in particular that stood out: Aurelia with breakfast staff greeted everyone each morning at breakfast. It certainly set the mood. The staff moved swiftly to turn over the dining area between crowds. I felt safe and comfortable. It was a young gentlemen that was the houseman during checkout on Sunday that was a huge help. I wish I remembered his name. I would absolutely stay again. Hotel was clean, food was good, staff was great and they were very accommodating. Perfect location and worth every penny. If it's the weekend, you can find street parking to avoid paying $65 a night for valet or garage parking. The entrance for hotel is located right off 7th Street Closer to the river. Check size of room, our room was tight but as a family of 2 adults and 2 small children we slept comfortably.

I only had 3 concerns: We asked for housekeeping in between nights and whatever they cleaned our bathroom with had a very strong chemical off putting smell. Our family is sensitive to smells so we didn't like this minor thing. I don't like the TV stand in the middle of the rooms. I think this is not the safest design with kids, but again we made it work. The rooms was a little small, but next time we would reserve the largest room in advance.

The room space is big enough with half river view. It is clean and comfy. For the breakfast buffet., it was also good with lots of choices( hot and cold food) The location is not so bad. It takes about 15 mins to walk to the metro station. As the hotel situates close to the wharf, there are many restaurants to dine in or take out. The front desk staff is very friendly and nice to help to solve my concerns.

I found that the shower handle sometimes didn't work properly. As I tried several times to set the water temperature for hot and cold showers.
