The location, the size of our room, the comfortable bed were all terrific.

If we’d known that a breakfast buffet would be $40 a person, we would have gone to Starbucks across the street or Potbelly down the street. We had tickets to a museum early and thought it’d be a good idea to just have breakfast there. When we arrived there were no a la carte options so they have you hostage and the price of the buffet is not posted anywhere. While the buffer was very nice, it certain,y was not one that warranted that kind of price. That was a rip off

The hotel’s decor was impressive. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We. ordered room service for breakfast and the food was plentiful and delicious. The location was ideal since we were there to see the Cherry Blossoms next to the Tidal Basin.

The bar area is extremely small and busy. it took me over 15 minutes to get a drink while standing up. Also, the lounge area is inadequate in size and capacity. I expected both the be bigger given the size of the hotel.

This hotel is a very short taxi ride from Reagan National Airport. There is a 24-hour doorman, and he and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a one-bedroom suite that was quite large and very comfortable.

The transition from the previous ownership was still going on, so there was no dining room. Food was available in the lounge, but we found the service there to be very slow and much less attentive than one would expect in a luxury hotel. There are limited restaurant options within walking distance.

Perfect location, great amenities, perfect for families or people who want privacy and not to have to worry about anything. I don’t think there is anything you could ask for that they wouldn’t help you get. The valet and doormen were the best. Never had to wait for my car or had any issues. They remember you and go out of their way to say hello and ask if you need anything.

The restaurant and wait staff were horrible. Every time we went there it was a half hour before anyone even saw us. The food always came out at least another half hour after you ordered and it was wrong half the time. When factoring in the quality and service it’s not worth the wait and price.

Great hotel. Kids liked to use the pool. Not far from National Mall and the Wharf, Starbucks across the street,

Next trip to DC I would choose to stay on the other side of the National Mall, closer to the White House. Even though it was close to the Mall, the area does not have an restaurants or shops between the hotel and the Mall. It is primarily government buildings and maybe residential or office. To get to the wharf, you had to walk to a pedestrian bridge crossing the highway, and walk a bit before getting to the wharf. It is not too far but in the heat. it felt too far away!

Good location, good service, and comfortable rooms.

Cold airconds everywhere. The windows in the room was impossible to open to get the fresh air. No outside restaurants to eat. We used starbucks from our second breakfast to eat on a fresh air.

The Location was perfect for our weekend to see the cherry blossoms! Very convenient bridge that goes across to the tidal basin!

Nothing negative necessarily, only struggle was trying to get ahold of the front desk and valet but that comes with the busy time of year!

Property was close to the monuments. Staff was very nice. And room service was top notch

Everything was too expectation or went above. Things were a little pricey but they met the price expectations most of the time.

We are fans of the Mandarin group, the Mandarin Como is one of the best hotel of the world. In the lobby they have a very good food and drinks!

Was very cold in the bathroom and we could not change it. We could eat our breakfast only in our room and many restaurant wasnt open. We were a bit disapointed about this. The mini bar was empty

I loved the lay out and location of the hotel very beautiful and convenient to all the spots I wanted to see. The facility was clean the staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was elegant and charming. The bed was delightful , cozy and comfortable made it very hard for me to get up and enjoy the city I was so comfy!

As lovely as the place was there were some draw backs, I feel the staff didn't treat everyone with the same respect and attentiveness as others. The room was lacking a mini fridge or microwave something where I could heat up my coffee or room service. The price for the food didn't reflect the taste and quality of the food , the breakfast was lacking I feel I could've gotten a better breakfast at a mom and pop diner. I feel that there could've been some things done and added to make things more comfortable.
