The location is good and the rooms are spacious and have nice view of the city

First Hotel breakfast in the US and probably the last, what a disappointment! For such a big hotel the breakfast area was probably too small that it was crowded all the time, it was hard to find a free spot every time. Once you found one, you felt relieved because you thought now time to go choose the breakfast meals and guess what? Next bigger disappointment: no variety at all, you had to cue in long line just to find literally a small bowl with some slices of one or two fruits and then continue in the line waiting for next the 2-3 containers of fries, scrambled eggs, bacon and maybe gravy sauce that were generally emptied right away due to the big amount of people. So you had to wait until they refilled it, from a window. It was probably the closest to communism I have experienced.

The pricing of the room per night was reasonable.

Pool was small and no drinks available there. Also of most concern, we had no freezer in Room 913 and one staff member was insisting we did. She was reluctant to put our ice pack in staff freezer. although other staff was very welcoming about it, she made us feel like a burden and that we were dumb not to know there was a freezer in our room, when there WAS NOT. We had a child with us who had dietary concerns and needed to keep certain food cold while sightseeing throughout the day. She made us feel like we were a burden.

The location is easy to reach by car without fighting much of the notorious DC traffic. Located on a north-south bus line convenient to the Mall and Capitol area. The room was well laid out for a business stay with a proper desk and sitting area though that was not important for us. We ate at a very good Indian restaurant an easy walk away.

While well located for business with government agencies or visiting the Smithsonian and other museums, this part of town is distant from the restaurants and urban life of the Georgetown, Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, and other NW DC neighborhoods. We did not explore the riverfront which is close by. There is no immediate access to the METRO though the walk would not be bad in good weather. The nightly rate at the time we visited was considerably lower than the Capitol Hill, NW, or Georgetown equivalents, so taxis or other options could work.

The breakfast was your typical continental breakfast but overall was decent and had something for everyone. The location is great and about 15 - 30 minutes walking distance from all the monuments and museums. There is also a rooftop pool and gym. Valet parking is $45 per day. Arrived at noon and was unable to check-in early but the hotel was able to hold our luggage while we went site seeing.

Breakfast is only until 9 am on the weekdays and seating is limited so you definitely need to get there before 8 am.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. You're just a short walk away from the museums which when staying in DC is something I love to do. The room was more spacious than I anticipated and came as a pleasant surprise. Staff were lovely and explained everything well. While also allowing us to store our luggage after check out while we wandered the city one last time. If you're interested in a good hot dog stand off the street, go to Sammy's (might be mispelled!). It's in front of a Federal Building and easily found on google. Well worth it the stay. WiFi was good, and worked as expected

I wasn't a big fan of the door. It was a slidey one and although it locked, I never feel it's as secure as other doors. That's a personal perception though. The shower was also a bit awkward, as you turned it, for me it was hard to find the right spot of not boiling/cold. The TV could have been a smart TV (this is a minor nitpick), as when just relaxing in the night before bed, we would have liked to have some more control over it rather than being bombarded by ads.

Clean modern room with a very nice and spacious bathroom. Fridge was quiet. Bed was comfortable. curtains were sufficient. Room had good temperature control. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable. Lots of coffee. close to Metro station and walkable to Wharf and Tourist sights. Parking was easily accessible and swift to retrieve your vehicle.

The parking was more expensive than other carparks in the area but that was probably due to convenience. The breakfast was sometimes lukewarm but that's being picky. It was a great location overall and I'd stay again.

Breakfast included with variety of options every morning, friendly and accommodating staff, within proximity of the tourist area (monuments, museums, etc), clean and calm environment. They accepted our luggage when we arrived early around 10am to keep in their closet despite our check-in being at 3pm, and after we checked out in the morning around 9am (our check out time was 12pm), they still accommodated us in keeping our luggage while we explored the last bit of Washington DC and allowed us to pick them up before heading to the airport.

Stay at this hotel for 2 of my visits to DC. Nice hotel. Could use a few updates but it's clean and comfortable. Although on the far end, it's still within walking distance of many sites. But many of the monuments are over a mile away. A fire station is directly below it so you may hear sirens the closer to the bottom floor you are. But this was never a problem for me. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is typical for a hotel... which can be hit and miss. The staff was very friendly expect for one lady at the bar. Parking is valet and expensive (common for the area) but if you have a car, there isn't really any getting around it. I'm satisfied with this hotel and will likely continue to stay here when I visit.

The breakfast buffet staff was truly welcoming. Specifically the Chef. He came out and greeted everyone and said very kind words. That was rare to see especially in todays day and age. I truly hope you recognize who you have. Thank him from us.

The internet was great the first day and then we didn't have any the rest of the time. we had to go outside or to the lobby. We lost cable for a day also.
