Courtyard Seattle Federal Way

We had stayed here before because the location is perfect for our family who live in Federal Way. This time the staff was just exemplary. We had some issues with our room AC and they changed our room immediately to fix it. The lock on the door didn't work and maintenance came right away. My mother is quite elderly and a bit forgetful and by the second day the restaurant hostess understood and automatically charged her breakfast to the room, plus they helped her step through the security process when she lost her room key. They were incredibly thoughtful and courteous. Made my Mom (and therfore me) feel really great.

The AC in both our rooms was difficult to adjust and get to cool. It was unusually hot in Seattle but it really seemed difficult to get the AC to cool. Otherwise room was fine.

The environment was very nice and clean. Staff was amazing and went well beyond our expectations.

Even after doing a "tushy test" on multiple beds, due to having back issues, the beds were absolutely horrible. I had better beds to sleep on during my vacation to Afghanistan for 14 months. The beds alone, would be the only reason for not staying at this hotel again.

The location.

Breakafast was only available from 6-930. We would have preferred it to be until 10am. The avocado toast was not as good as it was last year. I think they are using a different kind of bread. We would have preferred sourdough.

This Courtyard was extremely clean. Our room was perfect, the bed was comfortable, and we felt safe. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The parking was a little confusing. We paid to park our car both nights, however the lot was full both nights and we parked in front of Red Robin as did multiple people. Not sure if that was Courtyards parking lot.

every thing is limited but im finding many limits arent kid friendly, the bed was great, the had the tvs set up to use your phone as the remote and one set up and i had access to all the tv in the suite. It was great to have a microwave and minifridge. the suite was soooo spacious my kids had a blast chasing and playing. The tub Jacuzzi set up was a plus.

most of my issue was the aesthetic maintenance things like cracked caulking around the tub. they offered the pool by appointment but i did not know that until i walked in the hotel to check in. there was not real kid friendly grab and go options. Uber eats saved me for the entire stay.

Miss Ashley provided the best service I’ve had since precovid. We stayed near an Elevator and had no hot water the first night, but her pleasantness/kindness will have us returning if in the area. Good for you hiring exceptional staff.

They found early check in for me and the room was extra clean.

They had no room service and neither would they allow food delivery to rooms. I had to go down and get it. I picked this hotel because it was 100.00 more than the surrounding hotels, but i wouldnt say it was worth the extra money.

The jetted bath was amazing. Bed was super comfy. Daughter had a blast in the living room cause th tv came with hulu netflix on it so she could watch what she wanted and not just what's on tv

They have balcony's but you can't go on them. That pissed me off. Like why not remove them cause I expected a balcony but it was bolted shut

I loved the bath tub after a long day

when we got there it took us about 30 minutes to check in I guess they where having some computer trouble…the room was cold had to call to get the heat fixed but I don’t really think they fixed anything but that didn’t stop me from enjoying myself

Every one was very nice ! Food was great! Room was clean and had an amazing view of Mount Rainier! We loved the little half moon couch! So fun to cuddle on and listen to music!

They charge a fee to park on location. This should be included as a cost of doing business. We felt penalized for using our home town local Hotel for our staycation.
