The front desk was stellar. Great location. When the hot tub lost its jets the front desk person went right out and handled it! Small staff =many hats, and they wear them well!

The recent remodel of the Hotel and the rooms was a pleasant surprise. The Staff I will give a 10* of friendliness and response. We liked our stay so much we decided to stay for two more days. Despite any drawbacks, I would expect many more trips to this hotel!

I really wish that the rooms had balconies to improve the view as the sand dunes are starting to get very tall with native plants and trees. Our room was small but next time we go we will definitely get one of the bigger rooms. The refrigerators are very small and do not have a courtesy freezer. The ice machines are only on the first and second floor, so had to make a lot of trips to keep things cold in our cooler.

I am using( with difficulty) a walker ,and am having Spinal Compression Nerve surgery next week🥺,My injury, although severe, is completely NEW to me, and I forgot to ask the hotel if they had facilities for the disabled. I was happily surprised when, upon entering my room ,I saw that the man at the front desk had booked me into a room with a large ultra low walk-in shower with a secured grab bar !! It may not seem like a big thing to most ppl, but to me, with this painful condition, it meant everything !! The fact that I had forgotten to ask and that he cared enough to make sure I was accommodated to speaks volumes!!! Not one concern.

We ended up having to upgrade to a double queen room, which was a very good size. Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was perfectly fine. Decent shower, and a small fridge that we could put some water and snacks in to keep them cool. The window opened quite wide as well, which was nice. Staff were pleasant, and everything felt clean and in good order.

It did feel quite expensive for what you got. Rooms and facilities are on par with a travel hotel in Europe, but the price is much higher. It does seem that the area is just generally expensive, but that doesn't mean it's good value. There also aren't any walkable restaurants (not obviously, at least), so like with a lot of the US you will be reliant on a car. We also had a medical reason for needing the room upgrade, and whilst the staff were happy to help, the hotel was far from full and there was no suggestion of discounts or anything. Again, for the price I'd expect a little better, but for the average stay it was plenty good enough.

The hotel was really amazing! Great rooms! Comfy beds! Dana was the absolute best! Super nice and helpful! This is the best hotel my wife and I have stayed in so far! We have tried a couple others in ocean shores and they were good but this hotel was definitely better! Given the circumstances of the hotel in the midst of another owner change and trying to improve it, such as gathering information from guests on even small little flaws to fix, the hotel far exceeded my expectations and it has huge potential to become even better!!

The hotel has gone through a couple owner changes in the past year and there are definitely a few things that could be improved, such as adding a laundry facility for guests and the hot tub was not working at the time of my stay due to it needing a certain part to fix it. Though, overall the hotel was great.

The front desk associate was very accommodating, when we booked it didn’t give us an option to add my dogs and she managed to get us a room still. While all this was going on she was getting yelled at from all the guests about a miss communication on the hotels behalf. She deserves a 5 star just for keeping her cool!

The only thing I didn’t like is that this company was switched over to new owners and canceled out all the previous reservations which is why this poor lady was getting yelled at. You can do better, don’t do this to your employees!

It was actually a very beautiful location. You can tell the property may have just been purchased so they are just getting started on really establishing this place. It was peaceful. Clean. The ladies who work there are very professional and really care about their job and where they live. I enjoyed it very much and can't wait to share this location with those I love.

There was nothing I didn't like about this spot. However, things could always be better in any scenario. If they offered some type of room service or had more food available until midnight that would be awesome. There was a restroom attached to this location but I did not visit it so perhaps that will be opening soon in the future.

The location was convenient. The pool was amazing and perfect for kiddos and adults. I booked two rooms and requested they be adjoined; the staff accommodated which made our stay even better, so we could spend more time with our friends who we only get to see once a year. Dana was absolutely AMAZING! She is the epitome of what customer service should be. She went above and beyond for us during our stay. I expected to pay more for my room rate and was shocked the rate was so reasonable. I look forward to seeing the additional improvements they will be making to the hotel which is now under new management. We will definitely be back!

Location, very clean, comfortable well lit wildlife outside our window each morning ! Very pet friendly, helpful staff

The ac/ heat unit didn’t work, had to go ask for a hair dryer which wasn’t in the room and it arrived 4 hrs after my shower! Disappointed that we couldn’t get the third night(a Sunday) at the rate we paid for the first two nights booked or any discounts offered for a 3 night stay

First. I'd like to say... If you're booking a hotel room on booking.com, make sure the pictures of the hotel room are accurate. Call the hotel to confirm. This has happened now 3X to me on booking.com. i felt it's was a "Bait and Switch." The Hotels have no idea what is posted picture of what you book for. It was a lesson learned for me to double-check before i use this site again.. What I liked was the staff. Dana, the receptionist at this hotel, is awesome. She got me into the room I thought I booked in the first place.. Great view. 3rd floor. a couch is a must for me and the reason why I booked the room. I would have been fine without a view, but she gave me one anyway. The morning receptionist is very sweet as well. This hotel has great potential when the restaurant opens and the pool is open. Could easily compete against the bigger hotels at ocean shores. A++ for the whole staff.

It needs some work, but that's why it's so inexpensive now. Rooms are clean but a little outdated. My understanding was that it was Quinault Hotel for the casino. And they still have the Quanalt Indian headboards over the beds. I liked that. But this hotel just opened recentlyand ii expect 2 to 3 years this hotel will be a great place to stay at Ocean Shores. Also, the TVs need to be more at eye level while laying in bed.
