Hilton Garden Inn Yakima Downtown

Great hotel and well located - room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helped us find a great local spot for dinner (Cowiche Canyon). Parking on site additional fee of $10 per night but well located either right next to hotel or their underground parking. The hotel has a small shop with food items and also a bar. Would recommend this accommodation to other travellers!

The breakfast was outstanding with several options available. The room was "soundproof" and very clean.

My only issue with breakfast was that the yoghurt was served ON the expiration/best by date and was questionable to say the least. The room could have used a second "night stand" or small table to eat food on in addition to the desk. Also , there was no stationary or 'in-house' restaurant menu to utilize.

Everything else. Beds were comfortable, the facility was clean and well maintained, the staff was courteous and responded quickly to our request for more towels and snacks. Our dinner at the in-house restaurant Friday was excellent, and Jose was a very accommodating server. We loved the central location that allowed us to walk to shopping and dining. Having the fabulous Ummelina Spa adjoining the hotel was wonderful so we didn't have to go out on the street in our bedraggled state after our spa experience. We really loved the "Deluxe" feature of the snacks and beverages that came with this room.

The reservation was for 3 adult women, and I had requested a rollaway bed at the outset of our planning in addition to the two queen beds so no one had to share. When we called the desk after our arrival we were told a rollaway was not able to be provided due to safety laws. We would have requested a different room option had we been aware of that sooner.

the breakfast was very good good service and they cleaned the tables very fast . the rooms were in veryclea. shape . front desk was there and did nit have to wait .

Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable, good shower and room lighting. Overall, very relaxing and pleasant ambience.

Initially, there was no shampoo in the bath, which I didn’t discover until I was in the shower. This provided a huge inconvenience, I’m afraid.

A good property, well located in Yakima. We paid for breakfast which was very good. Good restaurant within 2 blocks.

I left my phone charger, called twice the next day to ask if they found it. Neither time did I get a call back with the answer as promised. This soured me on the staff.

I had 2 coupons. first day I was late and missed. the 2nd day I found no breakfast served on Saturday so that was disappointing. But I understand with covid. The chef made the most delicious stir fried vegies.

Bar prices very high (wine especially) and only the breakfast problem. Otherwise all good.

location was convenient to downtown and easy access to dining and traveling throughout the town.

seemed dated, shower was old, temperature control in the room was difficult to maintain.

Room was a little dusty and needed some deeper cleaning, found previous occupant hair ties, and carpet a little stained in room. Since not cleaning daily dt COVID, need bigger trash cans and more towels.

Sadly our stay was during COVID restrictions so their restaurant was closed. It looked like normally they had a great breakfast (extra charge) .... the grab-and-go was ok We were in town to pick up a new travel trailer on a snowy weekend ... staff was helpful allowing us to park in their lot the night before we were to drive it back to Oregon.
