Best Western Plus Beckley Inn

The breakfast was hot, well stocked and had a nice variety. The tables were kept very clean.

We loved being on the first floor, and the breakfast was good. The staff was kind and welcoming. There were no issues with loud noises or disturbances.

The price was not worth what we paid .. On Booking.com, we selected the two queen beds and a sofa bed. There was no sofa or sofa bed in our room. When mentioned this to the staff, they said since we went through a 3rd party .. we have to wait for booking.com to respond to our complaint and that they did not see the room with sofa bed. Just be cautious of that.

Clean and comfortable. Good place to rest for the night as you pass through.

While checking in the person handed me my room keys and stated my room number out loud. This was uncomfortable as I was traveling alone. The difference in prices for the same types of rooms. Near checkin since small lobby. As people checked in I could hear what each person was being asked or suggested. I wasn’t offered to become a member for a discount or other questions that might reduce the cost.

Location was great. We were there to compete in a tournament and it was 10 minutes from hotel.

No housekeeping at all but we saw them doing other rooms. We were out early each morning and didn’t get back to late afternoon from races, and it would have been nice to come in to a fresh room ,bed made clean towels but that wasn’t the case.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. The water temperature was great in the bathroom and the breakfast had a nice variety of items to choose from. I loved the way the curtains in the windows pulled down for privacy. The sitting area in the room was an extra bonus we enjoyed. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious. 🙂

The closest had no bar to hang the clothes on. It had been removed.

The manager and staff accommodated us on short notice, for an 11am check-in, after we left another hotel (where we were booked for four nights) because of a poor experience. They were warm, welcoming, and made us very comfortable for the remainder of our stay in Beckley WV. 😁

Everything was great with the exception... the room that was assigned to us was occupied and we freaked the people in our supposed room out... As I went to front desk to get the correct key my wife stayed in the hall waiting for me to return... while the clerk was going to remake our key the phone rang with the occupants of are supposed room wanting Securty because someone was trying to get in their room... had to call my wife down to the front desk to be reassigned to another room. Very frustrating, however the clerk was very Nice and the mix up wasn’t her fault.

The hospitality woman was fantastic! She needs a raise for all she does to keep everyone happy at breakfast and you know how difficult that can be!!! Always smiling, helpful and beyond positive attitude! (stayed 8/2 through 8/7/2023)

Breakfast was excellent. Desk clerk Denise was patient at our botched reservation and more than helpful

There was not a record of our reservation by Booking.com. Denise found it registered under the wrong first name. We arrived in the evening and it was unfortunate not to have a room waiting.

Breakfast was good. Plenty of variety, enough food, and clean. The room was clean.

There were no comfortable places to sit in the room other than the bed. There was a desk chair on wheels and a cushioned stool which sank to the floor when my husband sat on it. He is 71 and had trouble getting up.
