Staying at Shane Acres was wonderful- the hosts were so lovely and kind! Our bed was very comfortable and the location is great. We really enjoyed the included breakfasts overlooking the pool and wildlife watching. It is really close to a lot of sites you might want to visit like Holy Hill, the Kettle Moraine, and Horicon Marsh. It is also the perfect place to "work from home" if needed, because it is quiet, there is good wifi and coffee and water is readily available. Jackie easily accommodates Gluten Free and Dairy Free breakfasts requests and we really appreciated that!

The facilities were wonderful, the proprietors very nice, and the location perfect for a quiet getaway. Even the resident cats were very friendly (I love cats!). This is a great place for a family reunion or perhaps a retreat for a group of maybe 10 or so people. Beautiful grounds and a nice pool and patio.

There was no A/C and that meant sleeping with fans blowing all night in some very muggy weather which included smoke from western wildfires and high pollen count. I am now fighting a sinus infection... This is something I have to watch for when looking into accommodations, knowing I am sensitive. I was hard pressed to find last minute lodging in a hurry for a funeral.

We had a great stay at Shane Acres. Jackie and Richard were exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs and wishes were met. We had our two year old with us and they were phenomenal with her. She loved to play with the friendly cats and run around on the beautiful property. They kept her entertained with cart rides and kitty searches so we could enjoy our delicious breakfast every morning which was simply amazing. We look forward to our next stay when we are in the area.

Out in the country and quiet. Proprietors were very friendly. Good breakfasts! Lots of things to do onsite!

Road construction made it a bit of a hassle to get to but not the property’s problem, just timing.

The views, the pool, the cats, breakfast is always outstanding, and then there's the spa bath. Did i mention the view while holding a glass of wine? It's definitely a must-see.

One of the mattress upstairs is a little old.

Many varieties and more then I can eat. They changed it up for both mornings. One day French toast, next day pancakes. Friendly service and also had many drink options as well.

The weather was colder than anticipated which is out of their control. Was hoping to go bike riding, but just to cold.

Breakfast was delicious with options for all diets. The atmosphere was very relaxing, we enjoyed the views in all directions and loved sitting by the pool and relaxing. Jackie was very attentive to all our needs!!

The owners are so hospitable to quests. They even took a personal order from us for our breakfast which was another wonderful surprise.

The room we booked was a shared bathroom with other guests. Next time, we will book a suite so we won't need to share the bathroom with others.

I was very surprised by the location. It is in the middle of nowhere and this is the best thing about it. Hosts are amazing and very welcoming. The place itself is a gem.

Hosts were very friendly. Extremely quiet and emotionally comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of natural beauty.

Couldn’t get coffee machines to work. Prefer old fashioned pots to these silly keurig machines.
