Staybridge Suites Milwaukee West-Oconomowoc, an IHG Hotel

The room was spacious and comfortable. The Breakfast was plentiful, varied and good and included. The location was convenient. The decor was pretty and homey.

The only negative was on the day we checked in the two front staff were not very welcoming. First they told us our room was not available until 4pm. This is very late for a check in time. Then when we asked to have late check out at noon they told us that was not possible without even making an effort to look into this. The funny thing is when we returned after 4 to check in, there was a lovely person at the front desk who, when asked about leat check-in, without hesitation, told us it was not a problem and sorted this our for us.

Our check-in was quick and the girl at the front desk was very nice. The room was very a very nice surprise as all I was looking for was a king-size bed. This room had a full-size fridge and a little kitchenette, the sofa was very modern and comfortable. The bedding was white and looked very nice and was very comfortable. The toiletries in the room were nice because they were not the little bottles of shampoo etc. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. They had a very nice selection for breakfast and it was delicious. The dining area had plenty of seating and the lady that was working had it spotless.

I wasn't happy that the hot tub was not available. Everything else was great! We will stay again when we are in the area.

I stay at this hotel because I need to be near the hospital. Carly is super nice and always goes out of her way to be kind and helpful. I need the kitchen facilities, so that is super helpful, even though the hotel is a further walk from my destination than the Hilton. The pool is a nice size and I enjoy being able to sit in the lobby and read during downtime. The books and games library is a treat!

The bathroom and tub/shower in the two room suite was very small, with a higher price tag than the one room suites.

Free laundry, that's huge when travelling! Clean room. Welcoming and polite staff. Fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher in the room with all of the supplies you would need. Even a garbage disposal. The layout of the room, very spacious and felt like a little apartment. It was also pretty bright and newer as compared to other extended stay hotels in the area. It was pretty quiet. Even though they allow pets I never heard any and there wasn't any animal smells like in other hotels that allow them.

There was a little food smell in the room. The pillows were uncomfortable for me, not a big deal though.

We had a great stay! The room was a good size and very clean. Loved that they had complementary washing machines and dryers! The room was great! The location was perfect!

The breakfast was ok, but could be better. Both juice machines were out of service. And food could have been kept up with restocking once an item ran out. The staff was not overly friendly. And we booked through bookin.com. They had the tax incorrect so it cost us more than we originally booked the room for which came as a suprise. We also went to the desk the night before to stay an extra night. We were told our room was not available but they had a queen standard suite available and told us they could not do that until the next morning. When we went back they had no rooms left. So we ended up having to stay at a different hotel. That was inconvenient. Other than that the stay was very nice. And would definitely stay again.

our late mother in law used to set up Christmas at this hotel it was like a mini vacation unfortunately we have to come in for her funeral, but we love this place so we booked it for memories of the good times we had there .,

there is nothing about the property to not like , it’s so clean , the staff wonderful especially the 3:00 afternoon shift gentlemen I wish we got his name . outstanding!!!!!!

The breakfast was very good and varied every morning. There was a big bathroom, and the room had almost all the amenities you could ask for. The location was very nice and safe. Lots of shopping, fast food and churches in the area.

The bathroom door is a barn door, and it is very difficult to operate. The toilet took forever to refill after flushing. The refrigerator was quite noisy. A table for the kitchenette would have been nice for eating. The pool and laundry areas could be cleaner.

Staff was friendly. The breakfast that was included was good. Mary who gets the breakfast ready is super kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here celebrating a 60th birthday for a friend. The hotel was nicely located to the downtown Oconomowoc area where we plan to spend time and also a very nice restaurant called the golden mast. The front desk and the entire hotel staff were so attentive and friendly it made our stay extra special. I would definitely stay here again! They also had a very nice back patio with a grill which we were able to enjoy on a sunny spring day.

The only thing I could say negative about the property was that we stayed in a one bedroom studio in the bathroom was way too close to the bed with no door in between so if one of us got up early to get ready to go out the other one had to Indore upright bathroom light. Other than that it was wonderful!
