The Jackson SouthTown Motel

This hotel did not serve breakfast, but there was hot coffee in the lobby, and one of the coffee pots contained the coffee brand from my hometown! It was close to one of the main streets thru town, but our room was in the very back section of the hotel, and we didn't hear any street noise. There were grocery store, Target and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, and we felt safe when walking to the Target store. There was also a gas station two business' from the hotel. The main street downtown was only about 5 minutes away. The mini fridge and A/C were cold. The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

There was a rain gutter/drain close to our front door and the sidewalk close to our door seemed to always be wet, even if it wasnt raining. I just didnt feel safe walking on the wet pavement, especially if I was carrying something in my hands. I didnt slip, but I was cautious.

Kind staff, the lady was very nice and helpful (has provided hairdryer and cleaned the dryer lint filter too). Comfortable beds. By car, the motel is close to the downtown. The accommodation has a great laundry service. Parking is easy and free (large parking lot).

The room doesn't have an outlet with USB charging ports (there is an USB charging port only on the TV), just the regular wall outlets. It wasn't a big problem, just a note.

Staff were friendly, and room was comfortable and clean. Actually, as far as motel beds go, this was one of the more comfortable sleeps I've had.

Being in an upstairs room was interesting with the closest stairs being closed off so could be painted, but only slightly inconvenient. The shower in the room was a little small for my husband, who is not a very small man. For the money, I would have liked to see at least coffee in the rooms. Could ONLY get coffee in the morning hours, and only in the front office area.

Great location. Minutes drive from all the fun things to do in downtown Jackson. Room was nice and clean. Friendly staff that let me use their own restroom while in the middle of checking in since I held it until the last minute. Whoops

Room was a little small and the pool wasn't up and going for the first day but this would NOT stop me from booking again.

Nice spacious room. Bed comfy. Nice big fridge freezer and microwave. That said I would not recommend or stay here again due to lack of facilities.

No coffee facilities in room. Luckily we had cups with us and I boiled water in microwave. They only had coffee in reception in the morning - all gone by 10am and not replenished. If you want a hairdryer you have to ask. A lot of road noise. Not well sound insulated - you could hear people in next room and above.

The room is small and there is no breakfast, but I was surprised by the rating on booking.com The place is a motel as advertised and in a great location - walking to Target & lots of restaurants + close to Teton. It is an 8/10 property.

The cost of the stay is high but that is due to the costs at Jackson are pretty high.

The room was surprisngly nice compared to the exterior of the building. I enjoyed the newer design for the bathroom! Fridge and microwave were also awesome.

Laundry room detergents were paywalled by a quarters-based system. No one has quarters on them. Let us pay for detergent with a credit card!

This didn't get good reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. Clean and comfortable.

It was a bit far from the town of Jackson. You needed transport. There was no breakfast provided. It was pricey for what you were getting but Jackson is ridiculously pricey all round.

Location was great. Rooms was clean. Housekeepers and front desk was wonderful very friendly and helpful.

I didn't like how the divided room doors was in the bathroom and also shouldn't be a double room there's only enough room for 1 bed in the double rooms. Just not enough room for 2 beds . Showers are small also.

The best part is the price; it's a clean hotel with all necessary ammenities, all while at a great cost. Also, the front staff was friendly, efficient, and made us feel safe. We were able to book last minute, too, which was clutch.
