We had an amazing experience at New World Hotel in Ho Chi Minh. We had originally booked for the Rex Hotel however had to extend our booking a day earlier and they could not accommodate us. We then booked New World and I am so glad we did. The staff have been extraordinarily welcoming and ready to assist with anything they are able. We booked the Residence Club Premier room, which gave us access to their cocktail and canapes in the Resident Club Room (level 10). Now we have stayed in a number of hotels with club access and I can say that the inclusion in this club room exceeded expectations. There is a wide variety of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The staff were very friendly and were happy to help out or just have a chat if you look too lonely! Big shout out to Holy, Leo, Van and Venus for the great conversations, restaurant suggests and amazing service. The Residence Club Premier room itself was spacious and well maintained, room cleaning was thorough and detailed. Our overall experience was truly exceptional and we would most certainly stay in a New World Hotel again.

Hotel airport transfers are a tad on the expensive side.

Location was very good. Stuff was very helpful. Room was very clean and cosy with the exact space for a couple. Breakfast was the best in Vietnam so far. IBUKI restaurant located in the hotel was superb (You must try the wagyu tataki).

- When we contacted them via booking to book a taxi from the airport, they replied with a strange message as “sorry we are out of office..”. When we finally reached them, the price they offered was 15 times more than what booking offered (which was very strange because on return they helped us to book a taxi which was much cheaper than what we payed on arrival). - They hold a deposit in a very strange way which makes it difficult to understand what will be charged at the end. - Check in process was too long (15 minutes of standing in-front on the desk)

Highly recommend getting the club lounge if you’re coming from another country as they know how to speak English and their service is amazing! Club lounge manager and staff are our absolute favourite, they made my son want to go there everyday because of how welcoming and friendly they are, we loved meeting them all! Special thanks to April, she went over and beyond with her service and so did everyone else! Honestly our favourite place and we will definitely be back.

Level 5 is more of 3 stars than 5 starts to be honest! we stayed their for few nights due to change of room highly recommend asking for the higher leveled rooms..

We stayed on the residence floor of the hotel. If it was an airline, compare it to business/first class. Separate breakfast area, soft drink and tea/coffee inclusive all day. In the evening, 5:30 to 8 Pm, food and alcoholic drinks are available. The quality of food is second to none and the service exceptional. Chloe was our check in girl and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. Pool spotless always beds available. Poolside service included replenishment of water glasses. We have stayed in many five star hotels worldwide and I can safely say that the New World Hotel is probably the best. But... Check out the residence floor.

The dinner inclusion in the Residence Club was a surprise, and the fact that the club lounge is available all day is very convenient and a bonus . The staffs were very friendly and their English was excellent !! The whole team ( Annie, Luna, Leo, UV , Van) was great especially Annie, she’s such a lovely young lady, she makes guests feel comfortable and relax to enjoy what the lounge has to offer. I’m sincerely wish her a happy and lots of luck for the New Year.

This is truly an exceptional hotel with the most delightful staff. From day 1 they went above and beyond and got to know us by name and engage with us about our day. We booked the Executive floor which I would highly recommend as it is more than worth the value. It provides a huge selection of food at breakfast, free non alcoholic drinks throughout the day and food and alcohol in the evenings. The spread of food is meant to be canapés but we ate a full dinner here every night. The food changed each day and was of very high quality and delicious! We also ate breakfast at the downstairs restaurant but it was just a bigger version of upstairs so don’t waste the money to purchase. My husband had ordered a cake for my birthday and it was in the room when we arrived. The hotel also surprised me with an extra cake from them which was very nice. The location is perfect for Ben Than markets and wandering to various sites in the city. The spa is wonderful (fabulous treatments and staff) and the pool area fabulous to relax at, with very attentative and friendly service by the bar staff. The bar downstairs at night is great with reasonably priced drinks and live jazz music. We had rooms next door to each other for us and the kids and both were great size and immaculate. Cleaners were very good and clearly took pride in their work and were happy. Bottles water was refreshed daily (but was also available freely in the Executive lounge room as part of Executive package) I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Saigon. We were genuinely sad to say goodbye!

During our 3 week south east Asia trip, we only stayed at 5 star hotels. This hotel was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at. From start to finish, we had excellent service from every staff member and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The executive suite is luxurious and was perfect for our family of four. Lounge access is a must…you won’t regret it. The food is delicious and there was always ample seafood and exotic fruits. While other places may have a larger spread, this hotel provides only quality food…and I would much rather have quality ingredients and well-done entrees than a vast variety of so-so dishes. We looked forward to their breakfast and dinner daily…in fact, it made it difficult for us to explore cuisines outside of the hotel. The hotel anticipated all our needs before we knew we needed anything. They also provided us with a boxed meal for an early flight back home!

EVERYTHING Staff professional and very friendly, will do anything for you.

Only one negative when we arrived we had been travelling all day and probably did not look are best. A member of staff at the reception who was dressed in a blue suit was very disrespectful to us. He came marching across the floor, flung his arm out to stop me and asked can I help you in a discerning tone. As if we should not be in his hotel. Do not judge a book by its cover we were premium residency club guests.

It was my first trip to Vietnam and New World Saigon was the first place I stayed. I booked a residence club room and it was excellent. The personnel was very polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast , coctail hour drinks and food amazing! I also used the swimming pool which was very nice. I had such a good start to my travel in Vietnam thanks to New World Saigon experience, I decided to end my trip there and stayed another two nights at the end of my trip😁 Thanks Hoa, Thuy, Uv, Nhi, Thu and everyone that I cannot remember the name of🙄
