This is one of the best deals one can get for a hotel/resort stay anywhere and especially in the Hoi An area. Located on a gated island, a bridge away from hustle and bustle of Hoi An old town, it offers some needed peace and quiet when one wants. With beautiful views, great grounds, two sumptuous swimming pools, large and well equipped rooms, as well as multiple other perks, this is a world class resort. The breakfast offers many great choices of western and Asian foods. It is easy to get immersed in local culture with multiple shows in the nearby park that are free for the resort residents. The resort also offers discounts for the marvelous Memories Land show. The staff are amazing and ready to help with any wish you may have without being pushy to sell you something you may not necessarily want, like it is done in other hotels in the area, and miss Trang at the reception was especially helpful. Very highly recommended!

Something to note is that there's no elevator to the upper floor.

We had an amazing stay at Memories resort. It is a beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but still close enough to be able to walk to the centre in 15 minutes. The hotel is beautiful, spacious clean rooms, and the breakfast had plenty of options each morning to suit all tastes. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Mr Hoàng Vû who really helped us when we had an issue with our outgoing flight- we really appreciated this. The airport shuttle was also excellent. One of our favourite places we have ever stayed.

Nothing- everything about the stay was exceptional.

This is an excellent resort, spotlessly clean, stylish, and walking distance to the the UNESCO protected old city of Hoi An. We had a big room overlooking the river. We could watch the little boats with colorful lanterns passing by from our balcony. This was an amazing scene to experience and it will be the one of the first things that will come to our minds whenever we think of this resort, and our time there. The breakfast was great too. We loved the freshly baked banana and coconut cakes! We spent one of our days relaxing by the pool, which was wonderful. In summary, we had the most restful and enjoyable days of our Vietnam trip at this resort and in this town. Both are highly recommended.

We liked everything this resort has offered.

We didn't realise the hotel included a theme park with known daily shows. It was a nice surprise, besides some extras like free bikes and a gorgeous common area with two pools, a pool table, two bars and a yoga space. We took the bikes to the city center and it was lovely to pass through the rice paddy fields. Traffic can be challenging. The staff was also super nice and welcoming, going always the extra step. I recommend the spa and the 2h long massages!

The only thing I would have loved was to get lounge chairs on the balcony. I was planning on getting some sun but unfortunately, some rooms don't get sun on the balcony anyway. I would have still liked some lounge chairs there. The only other small thing was that I wish they had different-sized room slippers - mine were huge and uncomfortable.

Huge thanks to Hoang Vu and his team , made us feel very welcome from arrival and at all times during our stay . Loved the Pho each morning at breakfast and afternoon drink at infinity pool looking over to Old Town. Easy walk or bike ride into the action and the Hoi An Memories show next door is a great night out. Great size rooms and very comfortable beds , also quiet for a bit of a sleep in. I loved the resort's excellent location on a private island, which provided a peaceful and exclusive atmosphere. The facilities were top-notch, making the stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The breakfast was perfect, with a wide selection of delicious and varied food that catered to different tastes. Additionally, the Symphony of Art Show was an absolute highlight! It was incredibly well-produced, presenting Vietnamese traditions in a breathtaking way. Although the tickets were quite expensive, they were definitely worth the price for such a stunning and memorable experience.

While the private island setting was great, the resort seemed quite quiet due to fewer customers during my visit. This made the stay more private, which I appreciated, but on the downside, the theme park area felt abandoned, which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Everywhere was spotless and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Within we our booking we also got a free airport transfer. The location was ok if you don’t mind a 20 minute walk to the old town but a taxi is only £1.50 so no real issue. Don’t let this put you off this lovely hotel.

Whilst there is a shuttle bus to the old town it only runs at 9am and 3pm. It’s a shame it isn’t more frequent and later into the evening.

A very relaxing, quiet resort accessible via the walking bridge, or via 2 bridges if riding/driving. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is a generous buffet with lots of options. Two swimming pools, including a lovely adults only infinity pool, and a spa- we had a 60 min full body massage which was excellent. Our room was huge and very comfortable and clean. You can borrow bikes to ride into the old town (a leisurely 5-10 minutes), or take the hotel shuttle (twice daily) or walk (about 20 mins one way). You also get 20% discount to the Hoi An Memories Show which is on the island.

Our only possible criticism is location. You are a little bit out of town, which may not suit some. You do need to be organised or be prepared to walk to get into the centre of things- some people may want the city life on their doorstep. But I suspect the location adds to the quiet, relaxed, resort feel- no one comes to the island unless they are staying at the resort, or going to the Memories show. The seclusion suited us.

The resort is very suitable for families. Our family is quite large and the resort has supported the arrangement of 2 connecting rooms. The view is beautiful with a poetic river view. The room is spacious and airy with full amenities. The show is very special. If you come here, remember to book to see the show, the price will be much cheaper than when you book separately. We loved our stay at Memories Resort & Spa, the resort is beautiful with lovely grounds and two excellent pools. Our room was spacious with very comfortable beds, good air conditioning and we had a view back towards the old town where we could sit and watch the the boats go by. The highlight for us were the staff starting with Mr Hoang Vu who made contact with us before the trip to offer help with transfers and tours and was always available to us. The staff were all fantastic and were very attentive to our 2 year old which made our stay so much easier. Taxis were quick and easy to get into the town which suited us with a pram. We could then return to the serenity of the resort to relax. We had a great stay and would recommend the resort to anyone but particularly to those travelling with children.

There was nothing that would have made our stay better. It takes a little bit to get from the Island back to the centre of Hoi An but it also means that the resort is quite and away from all of the people and noise.
