We loved our stay at Memories Resort & Spa, the resort is beautiful with lovely grounds and two excellent pools. Our room was spacious with very comfortable beds, good air conditioning and we had a view back towards the old town where we could sit and watch the the boats go by. The highlight for us were the staff starting with Mr Hoang Vu who made contact with us before the trip to offer help with transfers and tours and was always available to us. The staff were all fantastic and were very attentive to our 2 year old which made our stay so much easier. Taxis were quick and easy to get into the town which suited us with a pram. We could then return to the serenity of the resort to relax. We had a great stay and would recommend the resort to anyone but particularly to those travelling with children.

There was nothing that would have made our stay better. It takes a little bit to get from the Island back to the centre of Hoi An but it also means that the resort is quite and away from all of the people and noise.

Our stay here was amazing. Beautiful luxurious rooms, super comfy massive bed and very strong aircon. The pools were amazing and the staff very attentive with towels and drinks. I had a hair treatment in the spa which was great value for money. It’s about 20 mins walk from the old town which wasn’t a problem for us but something to think about if you don’t enjoy walking. Breakfast was a good standard.

Two negatives - they don’t let you borrow an iron due to safety reasons - you have to use their laundry service- so maybe bring your own or a streamer if you have a lot of linen clothes! Second was the bikes you could borrow were not safe and not well maintained- my chain came off three times which made it a bit dangerous to use- none of our bells were working which is essential in the busy streets of old town.

Actually, the hotel is located far from the city centre. You should either to take taxi (~3-5 $ one way and be ready to wait 10-20 min) or to use bicycle. All villas’ bedrooms are packed by double bed only. We were with 2 teens 15 and 18 y.o. When we asked to change double bed in their bedroom to 2 single, the hotel refused and offered to bring another single bed as additional to the double. This solution costs ~15$ per day and makes the bedroom very tiny and uncomfortable. The breakfast should be better. Overall impression that the hotel is a pure commercial project. We would not select it for the next visit.

The resort is beautiful and the staff were very helpful and got to know us over the 5 days we were there. It wasn't clear at any point in the booking process but a buffet breakfast is included for all bookings. It was tasty and also convenient as the resort is located a bit far from other eateries

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with 5 people. All the rooms were spacious but the only common space in the villa was a large dining table, which we did not need. It would have been much nicer to have a small table and a couch so that we could spend time together more comfortably. There was also a spacious garden in the back but no furniture to sit outside, which felt like a missed opportunity.

Loved the room, spacious, clean, comfortable Entire staff super helpful, friendly, courteous..Vu was so helpful, professional, customer oriented and a pleasure to speak to . Loved breakfast, both pools, great massage, great gym and the free cultural performances and ticketed Memories show were outstanding and a giant plus. Wanted so badly to extend our stay here but flight was problematic..we hope there will be another chance to visit...This resort is a gem

Almost everything at the property is way above its price range! We did not expect to find a location at the heart of Hoi An, walking distance from Hoi An Old Town, still peaceful and secluded in a river island, and hosting an amazing array of staff members. Every staff member at the property looks out for you — really friendly and courteous — always ready to help. Starting from check-in to check-out, we loved every interaction with the staff members at the property. Given that we were coming in from 3 days of commotion in the touristy Ba Na Hills, we loved the privacy and calm of Hoi An Memories. The room faced the river opposite to Hoi An Old Town, and provided us with the serenity we needed. The room is appointed spectacularly, including a huge bathtub with a view. You may opt for the villas if you have a large family, but the two of us were more than happy with the deluxe king room. It is much bigger and more luxurious than anything you can find at this price point in Hoi An or Da Nang. The food was amazing, and we enjoyed every meal on the property. The room service was super prompt as well. The reception desk was probably one of the best we have seen at similar properties in South East Asia, always eager to help. They booked local taxi for us whenever we needed, and also guided us with directions and recommendations. No one staying at Hoi An should miss the Hoi An Memories show, organized at the other half of the island, which is maintained as a theme park and recreational ground by the same management as the property. The show was beyond belief in terms of the production quality, scale, and the performances. It is quite s delight to find such an extravaganza right beside one of the most peaceful accommodations — kudos to the planning by an efficient management.

We may be nitpicking at this point, but there are two items that we would recommend the property to consider — (a) free buggy service to an from the Hoi An old town as the distance is short but not walkable all the time due to the hot and humid weather, and (b) better sound-proofing of the rooms to allow for noise isolation during the night (at times you will hear boats in river at night).

Perfect location In the middle of this little island connected via two bridges. The resort is stunning, has this “memory land” were they have shops and do shows from late afternoon. Room spacious and bath in the middle of the room which is lovely for a couple but even for two friends will be Ana extra to have. We really enjoyed the free bikes they have for the people who stays in the resort, we used to go in the city, into the rice fields and the villages nearby. Spa and wellness area are exceptional Breakfast had all options for who wants to have Vietnamese Pho or international breakfast. I will definitely come back :)

The only thing I can say is, please use your local tea! It’s a shame to see the Lipton bags in Vietnam for breakfast. I’m sure you can do better on this

Staff and service were excellent including the manager Vu, his front desk staff. the men attending both pools, the breakfast staff, breakfast was great and the room was sooooo very comfortable. We love it here...wanted to stay longer but unfortunately could not change our flight plans despite our attempts. Beautifully maintained grounds. This place is a sure winner.

This is a five star hotel with outstanding facilities, beautiful swimming pool and great breakfast. The bathroom with walking shower is amazing and the room was really big with a nice balcony and view.

We had a issue with the toilet but it was promptly fixed. Also the location is 20min walking from the old Town, but you must compromise if you look for a 5 star hotel.

A really nice place. Massive villa, plenty of space and comfortable rooms, with air-conditioning and heating in all rooms. The resort itself was really quite nice and right next door to the theme park, which was an experience I can recommend!

I had trouble with the food in hoi an, but aside from that, it was overall great!
