All staff were great - always friendly and welcoming. Property is in a great location, an easy walk to the Ancient Town and river. Good selection of food at breakfast - and a great coffee shop across the road, as well as a bakery a few doors down.

If you would like to sleep in, I would suggest requesting a room at the rear of the property. I enjoyed my balcony room over the front entrance, but there was a lot of noise from the road. Also, as it was above the hotel entry - noise from people coming and going, standing out front chatting. Also, people would stand on the shared balcony next to my room (only separated by plants - and could see into my room), and smoke and talk loudly. Perhaps a 'no smoking' sign would be a good idea.

the hotel is centrally located at the edge of the Old Town. we arranged with the hotel for pick up at DaNang airport - the driver had a sign with our names on it ans was easily identified. Check-in was relaxed and comfortable with a welcome drink. the room was larger than expected, very clean and well serviced. One of the best selling points of this hotel is its staff - Very, very helpful in all aspects of what you may need and any issues you have. Breakfast is buffet style with great variety - For me 10 out of 10 for this hotel and its staff

A delightful mid sized older hotel with a beautiful garden, breakfast and pool area. The staff can make or break a hotel and the staff here certainly add to the experience, they are efficient and caring. Breakfast is delicious and buffet style with lots of options. The position of the hotel is very near to the old town and river. The free bikes are very handy for early morning rides . We had three rooms of various kinds and all were spacious, clean and had very comfortable beds and linen.

The only issue that could be improved is the access to filtered water, there is a small jug In reception but a fill up station would help reduce the volume of plastic water bottles tourists use.

Location was perfect, just at the edge of old town and a quick walk to all the action in Hoi An. The staff was very nice, welcoming and went out of their way to make sure our stay was excellent. The breakfast was simple and in the courtyard near the pool - small but decent selection of food items. We had 2 rooms and were not able to get them next to each other but both rooms were comfortable and in traditional style. The best part of this hotel is location and staff. Free bikes for rent is a great plus - good condition and my husband took it to explore going over to the beach early in the morning.

Nothing to dislike, very charming space in Hoian. The main lobby was open and the breakfast area is outside was well with fans, something to think about when you go in the summer and miss a/c until you get to your room. But this is just part of the area/feel of the space.

Beautiful hotel with the classic Vietnam architecture and wooden furnishings. The room and bathroom were both spacious and clean. The balcony was a lovely touch to chill out and enjoy the view of the courtyard and pool at the end of a long day out. The pool was also a great place to cool down from the heat. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, I especially enjoyed the iced coffee and mi quang. Close to the centre with just a short walk. The girls at reception were so lovely and sweet and were helpful with all the questions we had and booked our day tour to My Son. Highly recommend staying here and will hopefully return soon!

Staff went over and above to do little things for you and to help you as best they could. Example: offering small trays of cut up fruit and glasses of juice while relaxing around the pool, purchasing a heater to deal with the dampness in our room, always remembering who we were and being very engaging.

It was very damp and humid in our room. Everything from clothes to bedding to even envelopes and pieces of paper picked up moisture and was impossible to get rid of. It was a constant feeling of clammyness and dampness that permeated everything. Even myself. The staff brought in a plug in heater to the room but the dampness was just too big a problem.for a small heater. Even the walls felt damp. It was quite uncomfortable and only resolved by checking out and going to our next hotel.

Room- large colonial style rooms with old world charm, modern conveniences, an AC that cooled the room rapidly and comfy beds. the only room in Vietnam with a desk and a chair in our trip. Large windows in the room and bathroom give you an amazing sense of space Breakfast-a reasonable spread next to the pool with a couple of tables set in the lawn and rest in a verandah. Pool- very nice small pool quite shallow with a few deck chairs around. amazing facility set in the back so nice and quiet and private with lots of tall flowering plants leading to a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were very knowledgable and guided us to excellent experiences which we may have missed otherwise. Did not feel as if we were being overcharged at any time. worth the money we spent.

Breakfast could have had a better spread. Handicap access is only on ground floor.

I stayed 11 nights and loved it. The staff were exceptional both at reception and at breakfast. They were always smiling and happy to answer all of my questions. The property itself is a beautiful historical building which is very clean and well maintained. There was a good selection for breakfast plus pho or eggs were available on request. The location was easy walking distance to the Ancient City and bridge as well so many restaurants. I stayed in an Executive double and had a lovely garden patio to myself when I just wanted to relax. I was sad to move on but I will definitely be staying there again.

The staff was amazing. They would ask what we were doing each day, and offer suggestions as needed. They were all so friendly. We loved the location, close to the ancient city, but just far enough to not be so busy. The pool is beautiful, beds are very comfortable, rooms are large, grounds are lovely and well cared for. The breakfast is extensive.

The room had a musty smell with a diffuser in the room, but I think this is pretty common in the area with all of the floods. It didn't detract from the room for us, but it might bother some. If so, maybe a room on an upper floor would be better, but be aware there's no elevator.
