the location is good. not in the center which I prefer. my room was quiet, comfortable and a good size.

there are many small things that could be improved. I was not clear in advance there was no elevator. There really is a language barrier with all but one person. Even trying to call a can - using Google translate - proved impossible. The room was decently equipped but there was no sink plug (a problem for people who wear contact lenses). Rooms are cleaned very late in the day, so I often would be out for hours and would come back to my room not cleaned. Then I would ask to have it cleaned later which probably was not convenient for them.

This is an older style hotel (some have complained about the dates furniture, it is but for me this felt a little romantic, like being in a Graham Greene novel). The staff are very helpful and friendly and it is an easy walk to the old town. The room was a good size. The aircon was quiet and you could set it to 25° all night. Plenty of instant hot water. The hotel is a good deal for the price.

The bed was very hard - this is common throughout Vietnam, so it is hard to mark it down on that. The internet connection was fine most of the time but sometimes could be unreliable. The balcony was too narrow to put a chair on to sit out.

The hotel was much better than expected. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the a super-friendly and bubbly receptionist -Helen. The other staffs were nice to too, who attended to all our requests. Room and bathroom were clean and tidy, everything in tip-top condition that made our stay even better and comfortable. The hotel is located on a not-too-busy street hence it wasn’t noisy in that area, quiet at night. Location is a 10mins walk only from the old town food and shopping area.

A little bit of maintenance with regards to the shower as the water was quite slow but manageable.

I had stayed there before the pandemic and there were many tourists and the breakfast was great. This time it was different without a lot of people around to keep it going and no buffet breakfast to start the day. Traveling alone I was a bit lonely without a lot of people around the hotel. I am sure it will be great again when more tourists start traveling staying there.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Clean rooms and great location. The pool area is nice and a great place to spend a couple hours escaping the heat. Helen was very helpful and accomodating. Would definitely stay again.

as mentioned in other reviews the shower water pressure isn’t amazing, but that’s common throughout the country and didn’t bother us all that much.

The check-in process was the best I have ever experienced in over 25 years travelling in Asia. We were made to feel so welcome by Ruby upon arrival to our departure! Ruby excels in customer service and is available for any advice you may need. Nothing is too much trouble for her :) The location is great... walkable to night market and other local Vietnamese cafes and restaurants. (Ask Ruby for good recommendations of where to eat and you will not be disappointed) The rooms have a 'Vietnamese' feel to them, and were very comfortable.

This is very good property within walking distance to the old quarter. The hotel is boutique, old fashioned, but also comfortable enough. The pool is not fabulous but good for chills. Staffs are very nice. Value for money 👍👍👍

The toilet of the family room is small for 4 people (my family has 1 kid and one baby). The breakfast quality is really disappointing. I know, there is no breakfast buffet due to low room occupancy, but, frankly, our two breakfast meals we had during our stay were not so good.

Good location and very helpful staff, we had a problem with the bus from Hoi An to Hue, booked throught them, and they were in charge to solve it. Tks a lot Helen. The hotel is perfect to explore Hoi An old town walking, quiet place and very good rest. Room so comfortable

The hotel is really nice. The room was very big, clean and there is a lovely pool (it was bad weather whilst we were there but still enjoyed the pool in the rain). The staff are so lovely and helpful. They can help you out with any trips/transfers you need. We are especially grateful to Helen for being so helpful and kind to us.

Helen was super helpful. lovely local coffee nearby. I walked everywhere I wanted to go from this hotel. Lovely pool, I swam each day. I loved it Thanks Helen for your kind welcome xx

This hotel is still recovering from Covid. I'd happily stay again.
