Nice hotel located in Chinatown, good starting point to see Hollywood, the Observatory, Disney Concert hall, Dolby Theatre etc. Rooms are large and were renovated recently, staff was always friendly and helpful. Excellent Chinese food is available nearby.

Due to Covid restrictions, breakfast was not served as a buffet (as described in the internet), but as pick-up at the reception. Also, the Gym was closed, and renovations still were ongoing (noise by day).

Rate for room 154 that's fine... but the dagger to the heart.... 200 dollars for a hold for incidents.... and a 7 to 10 day hold. WOW!!! That let me with 28 dollars for the night. I was appalled when they suggested to get cash at ATM down the block... 6.50 surcharge to just get cash, wanted to cancel but they wouldnt, said they would just charge the 154 if I just wanted to leave.. my cost 154 if I just left and not stay, 354 with a 7 day hold on 200... Breakfast included.. no proteins served. Egg, potatoes, pancakes you make, waffle you make or cold cereal..

Location was perfect for our family adventures, close to both Union Station and Metro and bus lines to all the activities we wanted to visit. Service was clean and friendly. They kept us supplied in fresh water. We always try to choose a place with breakfast, and it had a breakfast room with options. AC worked well.

The breakfast cereals were sugary and had no Cheerios. Only breakfast meat was sausage, and not every day. the elevator was slow and hot.

It is a very nice little approach into the property in Chinatown (which is surprisingly clean and kind of calm on this street). The room was very recently renovated, very chic, comfortable bed, super clean and bright with some cool under-lighting. The price for how nice this room was pretty amazing. Oh and they are dog-friendly too. And the parking situation is very nice with a parking garage below the hotel (entrance is just before the gate entrance on the right), relatively cheap (maybe $16). Get coffee down the street at Thank You Coffee, really nice big park also walking distance just 3 blocks away (LA state historic park), Highland Park Brewery, Melody Lounge, and all the good Chinese food (close to Little Tokyo too).

Front desk people were fine, but not particularly welcoming. There was construction on another floor in the day time, but that's not really a fault they can control since they were likely renovating/updating the rooms. The stair situation is very poorly designed, there's no real easy way to just use stairs and the elevator is kinda slow.

The location was great, the ambiance was great, the staff was exceptional. Parking was very convenient and it was a great piece of mind having and attendant present. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. Overall the experience was pleasant at the actual hotel itself.

The elevator was painfully slow. The breakfasts were not horrible, but also not great, though the location is not ideal for having a better breakfast style- so that is understandable. The area around the hotel was not the best, but BW has no control over that so I don't hold it against the facility. Getting in and out of the parking lot could sometimes be very tricky.

We changed from the first room as the air con didn't work, after that it was perfect. Modern clean rooms . Nice area . Happy friendly check in , and a friendly hello as we went passed

Breakfast ... I found the ladies in the breakfast room a bit intimidating. Always watching , adjusted my plate by one mm by the pancake machine . The women hovered , and I found it uncomfortable

the staff is very very nice, the breakfast ladies are the best!!! they are so welcoming and so nice to talk! Josefina was very very helpful with everything we loved her! the staff at the reception are really nice, I didn’t know I had to ph $18 for parking but I guess it’s what you get in LA, the room was ok but we found crumbs in our beds and sticky sauce on the nightstand but besides that everything was perfect

Modern, comfortable, and very clean room. Proximity to public transport was great. Breakfast included in the room price was an added advantage. Luggage storage until check in time.

Late check in - difficult for overseas travellers with jet lag. Keys needed to be reset during stay more than once.

Clean, modern room. Comfy bed and linens. Great shower. In-room coffee. 9-min walk to Starbucks or Buffalo Wild Wings. 12-min walk to Union Station.

Breakfast doesn’t start until 7am and our train left at 7am. Hours not posted before booking, and no grab n go available. Unsavory streets to the east, but Hill St is pretty nice.

The shower was a bit rickety tickety but worked after all. Bathroom otherwise nice and clean. The location is within walking distance from Union Station that again connects ti LAX by FLYAWAY bus. This was my main reason for choosing and it lived yup to expectations. Breakfast fine. Staff friendly. The CHOW chinese restaurant 2 min away was recommended and fine.
