The breakfast was excellent. However on the 2/3/24 Iwe had to leave for an important engagement at 6am - therefore not having our PAID breakfast. We returned at 12pm - I asked the lady at the front desk if we could have lunch as we missed our paid breakfast; she replied no . I felt that she was being harsh and had a “too bad “ attitude.

I prepaid for 4 breakfast and 4 nights accommodation. I was unable to have breakfast one morning on 2/3/24 same with my husband - the hotel should have accommodated us with lunch instead as I had paid for two breakfast I did not have

We stayed in a Club room which offers access to the executive lounge with facilities such as private check in, all day refreshments, and evening happy hour which includes a small snack dinner. This suits our holiday style perfectly as we like to eat out for lunch and snack for dinner. For us, this is a perfect arrangement. The hotel, although getting on in years, is sill luxurious. breakfast, pool facilities and in house restaurants are all great.

We don't believe they could do any better, but we'd appreciated a slightly lower price - as would most people. Rooms size is a little small, but well appointed.

The breakfast selection was fantastic and the staff were friendly. The coffee however didn't taste that great (not perculated). Location was good with river at the front. About 15-20mins walk from the main centre.

We weren't told that the pool would be closed for renovations and if I had been advised of this before/leading up to our stay then I would have chosen to stay at a different hotel as we really wanted to have a hotel with a pool especially when we were travelling during a really hot time in HCMC (35 degrees Celcius or higher). It was really disappointing to be told at time of check-in.

We stayed three nights in a beautiful room with a river view. The location is convenient. Nguyen Hue Street is only 9 minutes away. Hotel is under renovation so be preapered for some discomfort. Staff is extremely helpful and always smiling. Concierge Nicholas is an exceptional person and also Thomas... Hotel has a very large entrance. Nice soft music welcomes you. Immaculate rooms. The hotel carries it's age with dignity. If you are not a vegetarian, breakfast choices are immense. Very nice atmosphere. Fitness Center is very neat and well designed. Unfortunately we couldn't use the spa. (Which looked gorgeous)

Garden area is not customer friendly. Every morning at breakfast time, they were cleaning the pool while customers were swimming. Because of the renovation, pool area is noisy & dusty. Breakfast choices for vegetarians are limited. Nearly all the beautiful looking Vietnamese food contained some meat products. Near the dishes, the ingredients were not clearly explained. We always had to ask the staff whether the meal contained any meat products. Bread variety was also limited. (I was searching for sourdough bread)

The staff was very accommodating, the bed was comfy, and the meals at the restaurant were great. What more could a guy need?

Hmm just for the sake of it, the location, although initially thought it was great, seems to be a bit off of the places I wanted to walk to. Not a big deal just took a bit longer than I thought. Maybe it was the heat. The USB ports didn't work when I wanted to charge my phone. Just used the electrical sockets. Wasn't a big deal.

All staff polite and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet at night. Choice of 4 different types of restaurant. Walking distance to a few tourist spots. You felt safe. Breakfast offering was quite comprehensive but at US$22 per person per day a bit high if you only want Cereal and fruit. Like many hotels in Vietnam it’s still a bit quiet after Covid eg no separate tour operator onsite.

0n checking in a credit card verification equal to our 4 night stay was taken. On checking out the cost of our stay was paid and the credit card verification reversed. Have now found out the verification reversal could take up to 1-2 weeks to take effect. Effectively your card has a double debit for this period. Can’t understand why you aren’t simply billed for your room on checking in.

Booked the property due to its pool facilities. During booking there was no mention of the pool not being available. Nor was there any contact made after booking to advise it would not be available. Disappointing to learn up arrival to our room that the pool was closed. We would have changed hotel had we known.

Excellent depiction of the Lotte brand. Staff were fantastic and happy to help with any request. Very comfy rooms with all amenities on hand required for a comfortable stay. Pool and gym facilities were great and the internal Italian restaurant was well priced and of good quality. Great location opposite the river and just a few blocks from hear of District 1.

Their room facilities and toiletries were top class. Their breakfast was one of the most elaborate and of top class.

The deposit USD 130 taken on the card. Was told it is a HOLD but my card was debited actually. On check out refund was done on the card but I received USD 25 less due to exchange and banking fees. No objection to HOLD the deposit but this was did not make me happy by actual foreign currency transactions on an Indian Visa credit card.

What stands out above all else, was the staff - ALL the staff! Everyone was friendly, efficient and kind. It was my birthday while I was there, and I was treated like royalty - wishes, a special cake, a fresh flower arrangement. It made my birthday break so special. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and the amenities great. What a lovely stay!

Unfortunately there was ongoing refurbishment. This WAS made clear at the time of booking, but I am looking forward to visiting again when all has been completed I think that, for a 5 star hotel, the breakfast could be better, especially the cheeses and cold cuts. I would also have liked decent coffee in the rooms!
