Mantra Hindmarsh Square

Great location close to activities, loved the buffet breakfast. Our room had a great view overlooking the park.

We have stayed at multiple mantra hotels and this one hasn't quite lived up to the standards other mantra hotels have provided. Fan didn't work in bathroom, facilities seem a bit outdated and old. We had a kitchen and only 1 pan and 1 pot to use, didn't have any basic cooking essentials like oil or butter Only limited parking on site, was offered an alternative but being from interstate that was an obstacle we had to try an overcome. They should alert guests when booking whether they will have on site or off site parking so they can make appropriate arrangements.

Very Comfotable Beds!!. Room location and proximity to our other room was very convenient for us!! Excellent location, great view of the park from our balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff! Coffee and food downstairs was great. We will not hesitate in booking here again when visiting Adelaide - it was just what we needed!

Our vehicle was a kia carnival and so quite long and the car park was a-bit difficult to park in at times. Many turning points to manuaver it into some of the parks, just needed to be confident driver.. Some times we got a good park and it was fine though. Having to take two lifts up and down each time was sometimes quite time consuming (due to thier being 4 adults 5 chilrden). There was one lift we could all fit in - but it often wasnt availabe as priority used for staff I think?

The rooms are beautifully modern, with everything right there for you to access. The location is superb as it is in the middle of the East terrace, making fringe easy to get to and is just a few minutes walk from Rundle mall. The staff are all amazing and incredibly helpful and accommodating. Been to many hotels/motels and the Mantra is the best I have been to. Not to mention the incredible view, specifically I stayed in the park view Street. Cannot find one thing to complain about. Thank you to all staff members, specifically I dealt with Shyam, Michaela and Jordan.

We liked the big room with the balcony and the small kitchenette to make some breakfast before going on our adventures. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was close to Randall Mall and restaurants. View over garden from balcony was lovely and the view of surrounding hills.

The toilet seat needed to be replaced as it was stained with over use and loose which slided to one side. We were staying for a week and house maintenance should have attended to it prior our entry. We did not bother to say anything as we did not want to have some other person come in to the room but did mention to housekeeping ladies night before we left hope they reported it. Had to ask for box of tissues as no extra one left and the same with toilet paper. Had to ask for top up of coffee and tea. Also had to ask reception the next day about housekeeping routine as not explained at check-in. The dryer did not have a notice how long it would take to dry took a guess of a time.

The room was lovely. The breakfast was good, and the location was good.

The staff seemed very confused.lNot just with my parties check - in but I observed other check ins. Initially it seemed my booking couldn’t be found- and it wasn’t until I showed proof on my email that check - in proceeded. I had requested to be located near two other rooms where friends were. I understand that it is not always possible but an apology or recognition would have been nice. One room in our party were offered a late check- out and we assumed that was all rooms but it wasn’t. Once again it wasn’t a requirement but giving it to one room and not others in the same party was interesting. We didn’t realise until we checked. At all times the staff were lovely just not efficient or organised.

located conveniently on Hindmarsh Square, close to Rundle St. I have stayed here a number of times based on locality & size of rooms. Rooms are equipped with basic kitchen facilities & there’s a coin operated laundry on site. On site car parking is available ($25/night). Staff are helpful.

TV is hopeless if you’re planning to spend any time watching it! Could not even access all the free to air channels and reception was not good in our room for what was available.

We arrived about 50 minutes early than the suggested check-in time, the receptionist, Lauren was very warm and welcomed us all. Allowed us to check in early by signing up for a free Accor membership. Booked room was as per the description although about 5 years back in 2017 we also had the same room arrangement however with a larger m2. I had an issue with the shower one evening (after hours) and called the receptionist then the supervisor came 15 mins later with simple tools and fixed it on the spot. A very responsive and willing-to-fix issues attitude from the hotel management made our stay even better! Location wise is very central, 2 mins walk to the Rundle mall to almost any entrance, eastern end, Adelaide Arcade, or Coles. A relaxing park just right at the front of the hotel. Enjoyed their breakfast menu as well, the staff were super friendly and attentive. Very highly recommended! Our first choice everytime we go to Adelaide!

Stayed here for my 21st Birthday and location was perfect for the venue we hired out (Rhino room across the road). staff were helpful from arrival to departure assisting with car parking and talking us through any questions we had during our stay. Rooms exceeded our expectations- very large, clean and perfect to come back to during the night as needed. breakfast buffet was amazing, fresh and multiple choice; perfect after a big night!

one small issue was the dishwasher not working, constantly wanting to pause. not a huge issue in the scheme of things!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and quick to help in any way they could. The beds were very comfortable and the location allows for easy access to Rundle Street and public transport, including the tram. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

We found a small ball of hair behind one of the nightstands and the walls were a bit thin. In trying to get a coffee in the morning from the cafe downstairs, I managed to order two coffees but then my other companions were completely ignored until they just left.

The hotel is in an excellent position. We walked five minutes to Rundle Mall and the nearest tram stop, fifteen minutes to Adelaide Oval and fifteen minutes to the Space centre and botanical gardens (next to the zoo.) There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The two bedroom park suite was spacious and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The room was clean. The staff were very welcoming and assisted with information on the area. The restaurant served breakfast at $20 a head if we booked through reception. Good breakfast choices of cereal, toast, pastries, and hot food such as sausages, eggs etc. Would stay here again.
