First Euroflat Hotel

The way the reception asked me for 50 euros for blocking but they didn’t mention that on the policies , so if I didn’t have that money it would have been a problem to me

It is the third time we book and stay at this hotel through booking com. The room was clean and large. Of course it needs refurbishment especially the furniture. The bathroom was renovated and confortable. The towels were changed every day. The breakfast was excellent and with great variety. The location is very central and very close to metro station. In the area there are quite a few of nice restaurants and bars. The reception and the cleaning stuff were very kind and eager.

The furniture needs to be renewed. Lower floors have some noise from the street and the nearby bars.

The location of hotel was great for the purpose of my visit. Rooms were clean and well maintained. For breakfast, they offered variety of food so I believe everybody can find their preferences. Staff was friendly and kind. Lifts were bit older and thus slow but overall the hotel met my expectations.

The price was a way too high for the week I stayed there comparing to other weeks. It would be great to have better access to electrical device when charging the mobile phone or notebook (I had to move the table in order to reach it).

everything!!! the hotel staff was amazing… very kind and accommodating. They have a luggage room where you can leave your stuff before checking in, and you can also leave your stuff there even after checking out (for last minute sight seeing or activities before flying out) which was very convenient. the room was really clean & spacious too… plus there’s air conditioning. it really feels like a studio flat (even bigger than a studio flat, actually). we were so comfortable in our room because it was really big! and location was perfect! it’s close to a bus stop and to the metro station… super convenient! if I visit Brussels again, I will definitely book a room here. also… they respond promptly if you message them for any questions and clarifications, which I truly appreciate.

Very large room with kitchenette, pretty much as described on site, although the furnishings were a bit dated. Clean and generally quiet, except for some prolonged dog barking coming from the hallway during one of the days. Good grades for reception staff, wi-fi, shower quality, underground parking and buffet breakfast (with some reservations as mentioned below). Also a plus was the proximity of the metro station.

The "1 extra-large double bed" which I selected during reservation was in fact 2 single beds arranged side by side, making it unconformable to sleep due to the gap in the middle. The breakfast was of adequate variety; however not quite sure about the freshness, as I thought the omelet was partly recycled from the previous day.

Location is excellent, A very quiet location directly opposite Schuman Metro station. There is an Irish Pub nearby showing English Football. Carefour Express supermarket is 5 minutes walk away. Aldi 20 minutes away. The mini kitchen and fridge in the hotel saved us £100s on eating out. Beds were VERY comfortable (despite some reviews on here) A pleasant feel to the hotel. Staff (friendly and English speaking) were at the desk every time we walked past it.

The kettle didn't work, but it was replaced by the staff.

There is always something going wrong with te air conditioning ( i have been at the hotel 5 times some days it works some days it doesnt). This time on the 8th and last floor the wifi didnt work properly ( interruption every 2 minutes). With a little effort it could be the best hotel in brussels.. It is definitevely my favourite

I will start with the proximity of the hotel from a metro - It was excellent, very near to Brussels-Schuman metro and near to the European commisionary office/block hence security 24/7 was excellent, well lit streets etc. I was pretty impressed with the room as well, especially the space and comfort of bed and clean spacious washrooms. It was exactly as seen in the booking.com pics. I requested for a room high above as i had read people complaining about noises from outside and i was provided with one, lucky it was available :-), i had taken a room with breakfast inclusive and had a grand spread with an awesome view of the garden from the breakfast hall across - which i am still in love with "hearts". Last but not the least to mention, about the hospitality of the staff - mind blowing.. I have travelled across europe, i could clearly differentiate the service.. and especially there was no racism :-), they were so happy to help with smiling faces. My stay was overall very pleasant, if i have to really visit Belgium again.. i will definitely stay here than anywhere else.

We were very pleased with the large quiet rooms, the view from the back windows and the central location of the hotel. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

The kitchen was a great idea but it was not well-equipped (there was no easy way to wash dishes, for example. Providing a drying-up cloth and liquid detergent would have helped). The location of the clothes cupboard and hanging space by the hallway entrance to the room instead of in the bedroom was quite impractical.

The Garden View Room was spacious, private and it was nice to have a little balcony to enjoy the summer evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful and the building and rooms had suitable air conditioning.

The crockery was a bit old and could be replaced. The location depends on your purpose of stay. If you are coming to see Brussels for tourist or leisure purposes, be prepared for a 30 minute walk into the main square. This has some pros, as the area in which the hotel is based is quite, yet ambient, with a collection of restaurants and bars surrounding it that feel a bit more local and affordable. However the walk is pretty far if you are doing it multiple times a day in the heat, and I say this as a person of a fair fitness level. If you are coming for work, I would imagine the location is ideal, as it is close to most of the EU buildings.
