New Hotel Charlemagne

The staff was very friendly. The room was nice, and very clean. We appreciated the car garage, especially because of the rain. The heater worked well.

The lifts (elevators) are extremely narrow and small. A family with luggage is not likely to fit in one lift car. I booked a room with 2 twin beds. I even sent a message ahead of time so they would know two friends were sharing a room. When I arrived I had to move the furniture to separate the beds. Luckily the beds were made up with separate bedding, but there was only one blanket. This didn't matter since I travel with my own, and the duvets were quite warm anyway.

very friendly hosts which definitely adds to the good atmosphere in this comfortable hotel with a boutique character! Room is not spacious but comfortable and adequate. Location is perfect when visiting the EU, close to public transportation and has a wide choice of restaurants in the neighbourhood

This hotel fully (just) met my expectations - price quality is right and has a great atmosphere. So, no complaints although the breakfast could have been better. The room has just enough luxury and since the neighbourhood is great you will have just enough for a good stay for a few working days.

Our stay at New Hotel Charlemange exceeded our expectations. Right beside a metro stop and also plenty of e-scooters available in the area to get you from A to B quickly. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Couldn't recommend the hotel enough for the price and the location is superb, so close to the Parc du Cinquantaire and other amenities in the are.

The only thing I could fault would be the breakfast which was included in our price and runs until 10:30 on the weekends however we went down to breakfast at 9:45 and the warm food in the buffet was almost empty and it wasn't refilled. However the staff were so accommodating I'm sure if we had asked they would have provided more, also the restaurant was very quiet at this time so they were probably just preventing excess waste.

The first room had a weird sound in it, I recorded it and did a decibel check for proof, just in case. I went down to the reception and they came up with me to check it out. Then I got a different room. These things happen, are out of their control and I liked that they did not make a fuzz out of it and solved it. I had a good stay. This is a great hotel for anyone visiting the schuman area. They had 2 types of pillows on the bed; liitle things that show they are smart in catering for guests.

Location is fine. Very close to a good area of restaurants. The hotel is comfortable. The room is very cozy. Bed is great. And even though it's close to the center, it's a silent area. Good to sleep.

Frigobar didn't work. The adjustment of the hot water was a little difficult. Plus, we needed to open a bottle of wine and they didn't have an opener (!?).

Nice hotel only a short walk from the EU buildings. Good location near restaurants, bars, a Metro station and some nice parks. I was able to walk to the Grand Place in 30 minutes (I am a fast walker). The buffet breakfast had something for everyone’s taste. The staff were helpful and efficient. I asked for a quiet room and was happy to get one. The room itself was spacious and clean and had good facilities. Overall, good value for money and would stay here again.

The mini-toiletries are environmentally unfriendly. I would like to see the hotel move to using shower gel and shampoo dispensers

Hotel was in good location for the reason I was in Brussels. Was there for work and close to where meeting was on. Beside the Parliament and bus and train from airport stop close by. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good choice available. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Bit expensive but possibly due to its location and was late booking it. Kettle didn't work properly in room. Had to keep the on button held down while boiling water

The room was great, staff were very helpful and friendly. It is located close to Schuman Station and has a direct bus link to the airport. During peak traffic it is advised to get the taxi, which the hotel can arrange for you. Lots of places to eat nearby as well and super market within walking distance (less than 10minutes).

Matttress was very soft, which is not good for the back and spine. For someone with back injury it means waking up very stiff and even sore.

The place is amazing, offers various amenities, and is located in the heart of the sizzling Berlaymont area. The staff does its utmost to help you and gave me a business suite at no extra expense as a sign of gratitude for choosing their hotel more than once. During my next business trip in Brussels, New Hotel will definitely be my natural choice.

Nothing annoyed me.

Great location, staff at reception very kind, good size rooms and comphy beds. I had a pleasant stay !

More attention should be given to the cleaning of the bathroom !!! I Was not what I expected from a 4 start hotel bathroom.
