NH Brussels Airport

No complaints - my ratings may be a bit tainted by immediately previous experience with 10 days in an older, much "warmer" atmosphere in Edinburgh. NH was nice, a bit too modern for my tastes and service was fine, not extraordinary. First room was not what I booked, but quickly remedied. Shower was excellent, room was spacious, if a bit "cold feeling" and the proximity to train station was EXCELLENT!

Nothing really, just did not get a great vibe - hotel seems a bit more geared for business than leisure travelers. However, If we ever return to Brussels - highly unlikely - this would be our choice. It is a very good choice.

Hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Diegem train station which made it great for our return back home on a flight the following morning after a 2 week stay in Belgium. They offer an airport shuttle which was on time and very clean. Our flight was delayed and after a quick call to the reception they were able to push back our shuttle 1 hour with no issues. Hotel seems new and very clean. Room and bathroom were large and very comfortable. Given the short commute from this hotel to Brussels city centre I would even recommend a stay here if you want to save a bit of money on hotels since they are pricier near Grande Place. Great value for money at 105E for a hotel so close to an airport.

Weird issue with check in when reception wanted me to sign a page that had identification that was not mine but it was promptly resolved.

This hotel was extremely clean. Our room was huge. Front desk and restaurant personnel were very friendly, but they're very understaffed. The poor gal running lunch was run ragged. The staff in the restaurant and bar tried their best but couldn't keep up with the customers, and in the bar they showed a large number of bottles of liquor but told us they couldn't make any cocktails! That was a little misleading and disappointing. The TV in our room didn't work and no one knew how to fix it. Again, disappointing, but they compensated us a little for that. The shuttle was very convenient, and this hotel is right next to the train station so we were able to walk to it to go into the City. AND, you could not hear the train at all!! Good location if you don't have a car.

Have someone on staff to fix things like TV, etc. Restaurant and bar staff need more workers an need to be able to make drinks!

Rooms are clean and bright. Bathroom and shower where very clean and enjoy the supplied bathrooms essentials (shampoo, conditioner body soap and lotion) you can rent a bike there as well, great access to walking and biking paths. And wonderful little shop we checked in after the kitchen closed but had the option to purchase beer and snacks to take back to the room. Train station right across the road so quick access to do day trips. The hotel was very quiet did not hear the train, traffic or airplanes in our room. Oh and they have airport shuttle service!

Upon arrival, Kristine greeted us with kindness and checked us into the hotel. She explained the WiFi, parking, and breakfast and directed us to where to get gas for the car. We left the hotel later that afternoon and returned later in the evening. At that time, the outside parking lot was full. When we went to the lobby to ask where to park, Claudio directed us to the inside parking garage. However, due to our user error, we could not get inside the garage. When we went back to the lobby, Claudio grabbed his coat and walked outside with us down the ramp to show us how to get the ticket and how to position the car to trigger the barrier. That simple gesture at 22.30 uur was so very kind of him. Claudio went above and beyond to make sure we could park and get to our room promptly. Just impressive! Thank you, Claudio! The following day Kristine checked us out. Both Kristine and Claudio provided excellent service, and I will for sure stay at your hotel at my next visit to Belgium.

Super visit

Location close to Brussels Airport is good, hotel is modern, well designed and has super helpful staff. Restaurant t and bar were quiet but food and drink was good, simple but excellent choice and again helpful staff Shuttle bus leaves twice per hour and takes about 6-7 minutes to get to the airport - driver on our shuttle was so helpful. Asked for a quiet room and they gave me one well away from main elevators so excellent staff responding to customers.

You can hear the take off of the planes from the airport but I suppose that is inevitable when staying at an airport hotel - overall this a a really stylish contemporary hotel with great staff.

Free shuttle service was convenient and was there within minutes of our arrival, driver Mohamed was very helpful. Reception staff where great, very polite and helpful. Room was lovely, clean and modern. Overall good value for money.

I expected more from the breakfast. We were there at 9h30, the buffet was not well stocked, cutlery was missing, coffee machine was broken and the guy that was in charge was not very polite.

The hotel is extremely close to the airport making it perfect for layovers. Yes it is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for; a gym, a shuttle service, complimentary water, tea, coffee and fruit, luxurious rooms, etc.

Getting the shuttle wasn't as easy or quick as I'd have hoped for. Upon arriving at the specified bus stop, I called the hotel and told them I was ready to be picked up. There were supposed to be shuttles arriving every 30 minutes but I waited for an hour. The driver told me she hadn't been notified or my arrival so there must have been some miscommunication. Regardless, I would rather wait an hour for a free shuttle bus than have to pay nearly 50 euros for a return taxi.

Stayed at the hotel for one night while visiting the European Parliament. Despite the fairly high price, it was one of the most affordable stays in the whole Brussels area among private rooms for private bathrooms and with breakfast included. ➕ The location is not central, the hotel is near the airport. However there's Diegem train station right outside the hotel with lots of connections to central Brussels. NATO HQ is also nearby to those who are visiting there. ➕ There is a free shuttle to&from the airport, which was available both in the early morning when leaving and during the day when arriving. ➕ Staff was very accommodating, and in my case allowed an early check-in. The hotel seems to be fully accessible. It was possible to pay with cash. The hotel and the rooms are nice and clean. Noise isolation was good, although the trade off that the windows could not be opened for ventilation. Wi-fi worked well both in the room and in common areas. The room was a bit chilly when arriving (my stay was in December), but the heating worked really well. ➕ Breakfast was great, with huge variety and even a waffle-maker with pre-made and pre-measured waffle batter available. There's a small shop near the reception.

➖ Waiting for the shuttle at the airport took a while even after the reported time. It is however possible to arrive via a train, and finding out about the shuttle came as a bonus anyway.

Clean, modern room with all facilities we expected. Great bed and shower. Free shuttle to airport. Park-sleep-fly arrangement available which also includes shuttle back from airport to hotel. And they arrange and pay for a taxi when their own shuttle isn't available for whatever reason!

We were for the first time at Zaventem Airport and for us it was unclear where we could find the shuttle back to the hotel after our landing. But a call to the reception made it clear.
