Kembali Lagi Guest House

Kembali Lagi is a hidden gem! It exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the family suite, which was huge and could have served us well for a week or more. I'm sad we only stayed for three nights. The small guest house is packed with lovely Indonesian antiques and charm! The location is just far enough off the very busy bypass so there is no ambient traffic noise, and it's a close 5 minute walk to the main street of Sanur. The breakfast is modest, but perfect. One lady prepares your entire breakfast--the best coffee, a plate of fresh tropical fruit, pandan crepes stuffed with coconut, and eggs to order. The entire staff was lovely, helpful, and happy to offer recommendations about Sanur.

I have no constructive/negative feedback to offer. I hope to stay here again!

This is a nice accommodation for a short stay in Sanur. It is close to the beach and the main shopping street in town. Taxis may have some problems to find this, but staff helped with this challenge. Guest house is very well maintained, nice garden but small, so there is no too much privacy, given the number of rooms. Excellent breakfast (fruit, coffee, pancakes and eggs, be aware they do not offer the typical local breakfast - mie goreng/nasi goreng). Owner offered a discount for the room, as apparently booking overpriced them.

The rooms we booked were very, very small, ok for one night, but not ok for longer. There is no storage for cloths and with this size of the room you can have max one suitcase staying open on the floor, and takes entire space. Bathroom is tiny (WC and shower in one) and the sink is in the bedroom. Owner should consider adding more electrical outlets - with phones, iwatch, kindle, there is no way to charge everything at once. If you travel, this is a bit of an issue.

Great stay in Sanur. Very nice and helpful stafff , helped us with the airport pick up and for transfer to Nusa Penida.Also provided good directiona for where we could change money and get a sim card near the property Breakfast was nice , bed was very confortable and had a good night sleep after the long plane ride . The location is close to a lot of restaurants, shops and walking distance to the beach.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing. They even prepared breakfast for us at 6am when we went on a trip.

My room was perfect size and provided all I needed for a comfortable stay. The accommodation was located in back street of community which were good to explore. The neighborhood felt safe to walk around day or night. I appreciated the local food cafe around the corner for takeaway. The staff were very helpful in booking my activities. I was offered many recommendations for restaurants, bars and tours which I appreciated and followed up. This was super helpful. The staff were easy to converse with either face to face or via Whatsapp. The breakfast was a highlight and available early.

Would have like the option of making a cup of tea in my room. My pillow was a little too big.

Very welcoming staff. Saw/Anticipated our every need. Space was very bright without being hot. I worry about pools because I am very sensitive to chemicals, like chlorine. The smell can ruin a day. But this pool was so safe, clean and comfortable. Love the reception cat. Everything very inviting.

There is one step near the top that is off by an inch or two. Felt a little uncomfortable going up and down the stairs. Certainly helped me to slow down and stay aware. And then … the stairs without a railing! Yikes. My nephew, who now lives in Indonesia and loves it, explained that risk is just a part of life in Indonesia: earthquakes, volcanoes, traffic, uneven sidewalks. Four days in, and I feel like my perspective on life is changing. And I like that.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, they offered us coffee and water for free when we arrived and we could do a late check out 3 hours later without any problems. The rooms are lovely decorated and nicely designed even though they are a bit small. The pool area is nice and cozy and the morning breakfast was delicious and we could order as much as we want. Best place to stay in sanur especially for the price!

Everything’s was perfect

Breakfast was great and delivered to your room. The staff were friendly and helpful The room was nice and big A staff member waited up for us as we arrived late The communication with the hotel was excellent..they arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport late

The walk to the restaurants and beach was short but not great for pedestrians We didn’t use the pool because it was green when we arrived ..cleared up in a few days but only two loungers to sit on and a very small area..not really conducive to sitting around..we didn’t care as we were busy doing other things

Individual rooms are well priced, small, and comfortable, centered around a pool. If possible, stay at the 2 bedroom / 3 bathroom cottage located nearby. The accommodation presents with a private pool, Balinese design with modern kitchen (staff comes to prepare breakfast).

For the B&B, guests go directly to the kitchen to order their breakfast which is delivered to their individual outdoor seating area. However not all rooms have this space (mine did not), and the communal living room was already full with guests who stayed in that area.

My stay didn't go quite as planned. I'd booked two nights with the intention of leaving late evening of the second day for the airport but my friend got sick so I spent the first night looking after her in another hotel. I only got to stay around 8 hours at Kembali Lagi but the beauty of the property blew me away. I loved the stunning decor of each room, so tasteful and really very beautiful. Adored the little bale hut at the end of the pool for a relaxing afternoon. Staff were all exceptional. My very short stay was very welcome and I look forward to returning properly. Try the amazing Nasi Campur at the Warung Kecil Infinity around the corner, close to the Bypass.

The property itself is perfect. The only downside is I can see why other guests left reviews about the noise. But that's not the fault of the property. Kembali Lagi is on quite a busy lane so the bike and car traffic sounds are inevitable. I'm sure like other parts of Bali the noise decreases significantly by 10pm. There's a huge 5G tower across the road so if you're sensitive to electromagnetics then this may not be the place for you, as it caused me quite a headache.
