Really good location, great rooms that look like a corporate room anywhere in the world, bathroom was 10/10, loved the coffee machine in the room, great Tv. Just a great room no complaints about that. Lovely pool area and bar on the rooftop.

I did not like that our room faced a wall, I did not like that once in the room you did not have a feel that you were in Bali, great room don’t get me wrong but just wanted a bit more of a holiday Bali feel than. Breakfast was busy, super busy and hard to get a table for 4. I also did not like that the pool area did not have many sun beds and by 3pm no hardly places with sun.

Wonderful hotel with outstanding staff! It is perfectly located on a 5 minutes walk from the beach; a lot of options for food and drinks around. Sanur is a good location if you plan a trip to Nusa Penida, too, since the harbour is at a 10 mins drive. Very varied and big breakfast buffet; their rooftop pool is really nice, and the beds are super comfy. I asked for a quiet room, and I was not disappointed: I could fall asleep to the sound of birds chirping. The staff goes above and beyond for you: a special thank to Manik who found me a perfect driver (Putu Edi) who drove me all the way around the island for a very honest price and also gave me a lot of useful tips and took pictures of me. Their SPA has competitive prices: try the Balinese massage with Koming, and you won't regret it!

The food and drinks at the restaurant are a bit pricey compared to the restaurants around, and the last order is at 9 pm. If you travel alone, their shuttle service to/from the airport is almost 3 times more expensive than a Grab ride (local Uber), but it's OK if you share at least with another person and to be fair it is very convenient when you arrive, because they'll wait for you even if your flight is late, if you have to wait for immigration practices/your luggage, etc.

The location is incredible, just a very short walk to the beach. The breakfast has so much variety and all delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and hardworking. Everything is so clean, constantly saw workers going around cleaning the floors. The infinity pool on the roof was very nice and clean.

The lights in the room aren't very bright. Wifi was a bit spotty. Fridge barely kept things cold

At the Artotel, the staff were very friendly and greeted me often. I felt welcomed. The rooms are modern but simple. The balcony was a bit old and odd, and the view wasn’t the best, but I enjoyed it nonetheless (I was able to view the busy street below). The property was so close to the beach, shops and markets which I liked. The spa was amazing! The Drea gave me 2 amazing treatments. The rooftop view, pool, the bar food and entertainment were great!

There was a mixup with my credit card - I received a notice my first evening that I couldn’t use an American Express for my deposit when I asked if it was ok when I checked in and was told yes. The breakfast buffet, the food was good but I also noticed that the later I arrived at breakfast, the food wasn’t hot. The first time I arrived at breakfast, I wasn’t given any instructions so I waited at a table not sure what to do and after no one stopped I got up and figured out what to do by observing others.

Tin sheeting below horizon pool needs fixing. Blows and crashes in the wind! Pool fencing also a bit rusted which makes you a touch nervous 5 floors up! Shame because area and pool itself otherwise really nice.

No hot water in the shower which was weird considering the hotel. The restaurant and room service were announced to be 24 hours but they close at 9.30pm

The fat pillows were not comfortable, too high and too bulky.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by everyone. Due to our flight time, We were very early and just wanted to leave our bags. One of our party booked a spa treatment. We were checked in and left our bags, went out, returning at 10am. We had coffee in the restaurant and before 11am they had prepared our room which was very welcome. The room was lovely- cool, dark and comfortable with good facilities and funky decor without being too much. Breakfast was included and it was lovely. We had a misunderstanding around happy hour cocktails but Eric was very gracious and sorted it out to our advantage. All of the staff were pleasant and friendly. The massage we had was great. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked fine. The atmosphere of the whole place was very chill but professional.

There was a family of French people who sat together in the middle of the restaurant and all smoked, right through breakfast, on both days we were there. I think a non smoking /smoking section would be good. Maybe the smokers could sit by the open windows at the front rather than in the middle. In room 425, the plug in the sink gets stuck and made it hard to empty the sink. Otherwise, everything was great.

the property is exciting - contemporary art being a feature of its interior design. the room was excellent and fitted with everything needed for a short stay including coffee machine, good lighting, a day bed and thoughtful packaging and signage related to environmental considerations. the staff were friendly and efficient. The rooftop bar and pool area is designed to catch the breeze and views. The included breakfast would cater to a wide range of tastes.

I had an uncomfortable night due to the pillows being too high and hard. Also, at around midnight, someone was going in and out of a gate (which wasn’t closed gently) and seemed to be doing some drilling/maintenance. Maybe request to not stay on the first floor and perhaps an assortment of pillow options could be offered.
