Villa Puri Ayu

Rooms are very clean and modern. Location isnt too bad just a short stroll down a back alley to the beach. Pool is nice at the hotel. Small buffet style breakfast its simple but was enjoyable.

Be careful of where your room is, if you are close to reception all you will hear is music from the street. Further in no issues. I stayed in a grand deluxe, I would recommend going just a standard room. Room types the same, just 'no.view'. my room had no view.. save the cash go for standard.

Tradional Balinese rooms we love, Room 101 just fabulous, near the main pool and breaky area.More modern rooms also available upstairs….Overall, a fabulous stay, as close to our dentist, so convenient and peaceful. Great value for money, and as there were permanent expats living there as well as tourists, they were a fund of helpful info, insight re leasing in this great hotel,and warm, fun company! Staff very caring, helpful, immediate visit by the electrician when power compromised( my fault..🤭) Breaky staff attentive to our needs, even knowing how brown we liked our toast! One of my happiest Bali visits, and loved Sanur.

Parts inside as in bathrooms, a little tired, but that has no bearing on the overall enjoyment…..typically Balinese unless you want 5 star, which we don’t need.

I got special price to stay in this hotel, as solo travel I don't have many demands and high expectation as long I can stay in a clean bed. But this hotel is definitely exceeds my expectations: the exterior may look a bit old but they just built new buildings inside so it's definitely an upgrade for the hotel. For my stay, they gave me an upgrade to the room in the new building with clean bathroom and bedroom area. The hot water works very well and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The location is very quiet and it's only 2 mins walk to the beach. There are Italian and Vietnamese restaurants just around the corner and more cafes along beach area. Also it is very near Power Of Now Oasis shala if you like to practice yoga and then go to Genius Cafe for an organic meal while watching sunset on the beach.

Maybe add room slippers and give more lighting option in the room. Also thicker blanket is needed because it gets very cold at night.

As with almost all the tourist accommodation in the world, little maintenance has been over the past 2 years but you can see this place will be back to standard in time

Great location. Quiet, small , simple, clean and traditional hotel situated off main road. Super close to beach ( 2 minute walk), restaurants and shopping. 5 minite walk to Popular supermarket. Commonwealth bank atm at end of lane. BIG shout out to Warung Mina,( next door to hotel). Good size rooms and large bathroom, beds were comfortable and room air-conditioned. Hotel has two pools. Breakfast was simple but perfect for me, fresh fruit, pancakes and eggs ( there are other options).

The juice offered at breakfast was more like a sweet syrup. Fresh juice would more appropriate for a breakfast. Due to rain, water ran down the inside walls of our bathroom.

We stayed in one of the older walled garden villas and while a bit dated, everything was clean and comfortable. If we had an issue with anything (shower head and tv), it was attended to in a matter of hours. Breakfast was good with a good selection, pancakes, rice, noodles, sausages, bacon, veggies, egg station, fruit, pastries. The staff were wonderful. My husband was recovering from Chemotherapy and needed to sleep during the day. The staff were more than happy to work around this for us.

The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been the addition of a daybed or sun lounge to Villa 404. The lounge chairs that were there was quite uncomfortable and somewhere to lie and read, other than the bed, would have been greatly appreciated. The bed was quite hard but this normal for most, if not all hotel beds in Asia.

This place was in a great part of Sanur but unfortunately with Covid many things are still closed so it's a bit dead, but a 2 minute walk takes you to a good beach with a great little bar on the sand nice food and cheap drinks.

The breakfast really was very average better to walk down to the beach.
