Holiday Inn Bali Sanur, an IHG Hotel

Great hotel with perfect service. Room - large enough, modernly furnished, quiet. Extremely large and comfortable bed. Refrigerator, coffee and tea accessories in the room. Water replenished daily (packaged bottles). Free quality cosmetics available in the bathroom. Hotel - modern, excellently equipped. Always everywhere perfectly clean. Restaurant, bar and reception open 24/7. Rooftop pool clean, toilets and showers available. Late check-out is free as standard. In case of any problem, immediate solution. Breakfast - a rich offer, the possibility of other meals on request. Children's tableware and chairs available free of charge. Upon request, the hotel will prepare a takeaway breakfast package. Surroundings - the hotel is in a quieter street (you really don't hear the noise of the city). There is no sidewalk in the street and during the day it functions as a "parking lot" for motorbikes - but everyone drives slowly and carefully, so even with a small child there is no problem walking. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, markets, exchange offices, tour operators, local taxis, scooter and bike rentals within a few meters. Beach - within 100m from the hotel. The beach is sandy, without pebbles. Gradual entrance to the sea (for a long time). In the wider area, the sea is a dock for small boats and catamarans. It is not a classic beach for swimming or snorkeling (you have to go a bit further), but an ideal beach for families with children or weaker swimmers. Sunbeds can be rented everywhere. Plenty of trees and shade on the beach. Available (for a fee) toilets and showers. Bars and restaurants along the entire length of the beach.

There is nothing we don't like. Everything was perfect! If we have to write a "but", there are a few things... there are only 8 sunbeds at the rooftop pool, which can be a minor shortcoming in the exposed terms. Toilets and showers throughout the hotel are a little too air-conditioned for our standards. :) And we would like a little more storage space in the rooms (a lot of things are needed for a longer stay with a small child). As you can see, there are really no downsides...the hotel really has absolutely nothing to complain about!!

Very modern hotel in Sanur. Our hotelroom was really beautiful and we felt relaxed. We slept really good and overcame our jetlag.

music on the hallways start at 6.30AM and is very loud, it woke us up. since we came at the hotel after a day of 30 hours travel we weren’t very happy about this. But after calling the reception it didn’t happen again, so that was great!

The place was so refreshing after we have changed numerous villa and guest houses during previous months in Bali. One of biggest factors for us was absence of ants and masquito and HI was a saviour for our mama and little baby. They could sleep without net tents, lotions and worries. Rooms are not so big but really ergonomic and we managed to fit tons of bags and luggage cases. The most outstanding was staff personal. They are gold at hospitality. So responsive and carrying . Rooms are cleaned perfectly .Another factor was the breakfast which has everything we needed for a proper nourishment . Many vegetarian options.

The price during high season was becoming quite high but it is what it is. Bali is a hot spot and demand for comfort meets responsive fare price. Also i would suggest changing plastic disposable bottles with a glass bottles for the health of the environment.

The hotel exceeded our expectations and we are experienced travellers who had the change to visit lots of good and not very good hotels around the world: 1. The staff was very friendly and keen to help us with every request we had. 2. Rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and everything was modern and nice. 3. The breakfast and the dinner was gorgeous, very tasty with good quality and no Bali belly. The breakfast had a great choice that you could see on a regular lunch or dinner menu. 4. We had the connecting rooms (Family Room) as we were travelling with our 9-month old daughter. This has allowed us to have the maximum comfort for our stay. The soundproofing was great and we could enjoy our day whilst the baby was sleeping in the room next to us. We had 2 bathrooms and the housekeeping service was great. 5. They provided us with babycot and a highchair during the breakfast. Good mattress for the babycot. 6. The rooms were quiet, no noise. 7. We did not see any insects and the hotel was always very clean. 8. Good location, right next to the beach with access to everything you need: supermarket (Arta Sedana 7 minute ride with a Grab taxi (2-3$); Laundry (6$ for 5kg) - highly recommend Sunrise Coin Laundry - but there is no ironing service, which is offered by the hotel).

We loved our stay. Very good value for the money. The rooftop pool is small but clean. It does not have many sun-beds or areas to provide shade. They were very lovely and polite to offer us the dinner even earlier then the scheduled time due to our sleep schedule with the baby. We appreciated it a lot. However, we were not notified that if you order your dinner in your room, an extra rate is applied. Because we were not informed, they did not charge us anything. Ultimately, very understanding and loving staff.

bacon should be available with eggs at breakfast. Is like that in all hotels in Bali, why not here ?

Lovely staff, good breakfast, great coffee, location to beach & main street for shopping. The afternoon tea offer was also lovely. The bathroom in room was fabulous with a step in shower. View from pool on roof overlooking the beach was gorgeous.

The beds were a little too hard & the pillows, although they looked nice & plump deflated when you put your head on them to nothing. Pool area on roof was very average (except the view). Compared to rest of hotel it felt forgotten. One ladder in the pool was broken, so didn't feel safe using it.

Well-designed with thoughtful details in the room for a beach holiday eg. non-carpeted floors, lines for hanging wet clothes, large bathroom. Room was very spacious with sitting area, suitable for longer stay too. Gym and pool were cosy but sufficient and had a very nice atmosphere. There was room service, snacks could be ordered at lobby cafe. Breakfast was a large spread with lots of choices. Location was great, just a short 3-min walk to the beach at the end where there is a lovely Mediterranean style cafe called Stuja di Pantai which serves great coffee and cold brews. Lots of food choices along beachside. Staff were all extremely polite, helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

Honestly nothing.

The location is nice, a lot of restaurants over there. I think Italian Restaurant Massimo was one of the best. The breakfast was also ok. I really appreciate how open-minded was the stuff about preparing breakfast boxes, when we had to go early on the trip. The stuff also really helped us with recommendations of the good nearby restaurants to celebrate my mother’s birthday. For the rooms also good, clean.

The closet is too small to store your clothes, so we had to keep it in our suitcase.

Best place I've stayed at in Bali. The ro1 e0oms were excellent with comfy beds and pillows, a smart tv that could play youtube, premium feeling bathroom and a cozy couch. Breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of options. Staff were always friendly. Housekeeping would stock your room with 4 bottles of water a day to keep you going. The rooftop pool was also good as long as you don't mind the sun. Also the location was a minutes walk straight down a quiet road to the beach. In the other direction there was also a few really good restaurants for lunch or dinner.

Weren't any umbrellas for the rooftop pool sun lounges. Other than that everything else was good.

This is a nice small hotel located close to the beach and small shops and restaurant. We were upgraded for free to an executive suite and it was amazing. We loved everything about it, food, room, staff’s kindness. The pool is a bit small, but for our kid we went to a beach club nearby that had kid pool with slides.

The only small thing we noted was that our room was close to a water pump that was quite noisy but we mentioned it to the staff amd they turned it off during the night. Talk about customer care - well done!
