Fiesta Americana Cancun Villas

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The room was comfortable with a balcony facing the beach and the swimming pool. Great to have a restaurant right next to the beach serving buffet meals.

Depending on what you are looking, the location might not be the best, as the hotel is not on the main beach of the hotel zone, hence not ideal if you are looking for a long beach of sand. The staff was a bit too pushy with their membership/reward programs, tricking us into a 1h presentation after offering us a free breakfast, it would have been good for them to be honest and explain us the trade-off.

Very large 2 bedroom villa with an exceptional view of the pool and ocean. Large main balcony and with small balconies for each bedroom. Spacious living and full kitchen area. The premises were clean and the villa cleaned daily.

Smaller hotel pool with jacuzzis. The in-room jacuzzi in the main bedroom looked worn--did not use. Not a white sand beach in front of the hotel with the entry steps into the water, but that was reflected in the hotel pictures so not a surprise. Noisy party atmoshphere at the RIU next door wasn't an issue for me but could be for light sleepers. the kitchen utensils were very minimal.

The beds were comfortable. Family friendly.

The front desk personnel was simply trying to get out of their shift and refused to actually help with getting maintenance to my room. This was immediately after check-in, and I would have gladly just taken a different room. The toilet wasn’t flushing and the sink was clogged, I had to wait 24 hours to finally get this fixed. Two light bulbs weren’t working and were never replaced. The place is very old and falling into general disrepair. The food options at the restaurants are not worth what they cost. the access to the beach is right next to a shack where all the jet skis take off, so the place constantly smells like gasoline and burnt oil (since these are all old jet skis) I think I take back my point of it being family friendly.

The hotel was in a good location, close to the beach, but a little bit of a walk to the grocery store. Beautiful pool and views of the water, restaurant had nice food. We had a suite so nice big room, comfortable bed and kitchen. A kettle would have been a good addition. It was good to be able to book our day tours via the hotel. Some staff were friendly and helpful.

Some of the staff could have been more welcoming and helpful particularly when we were seeking advise and information on a country we haven't visited before- we felt like some of the staff could have put more effort into finding out the information we were asking- it seemed if they didn't know the information that's the way it was - bad luck. The dishes in the suite could have been cleaner and more utensils for cooking would have been helpful. It was really difficult to get dishwashing tablets and liquid from staff on a daily basis - would have been good to have been given some daily as the hotel requested that visitors keep the kitchen clean - so please add it to the room daily

The room was spacious. Friendly staff. Has a pool with a restaurant. Beach access is not great but it does have it. Kids had a great time playing the pool and beach.

Room layout could have been better. Bathroom with sliding doors is almost unusable with kids running around. There were contractors painting and I could hear them talking loud when I tried to get a nap in the afternoon. The pool music is also very audible inside the room. Not great dine in options within the hotel premises.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We couldn't check-in early but they held our bags for us and let us use all the facilities while we waited. Same for check-out, we were able to use the facilities till we went to the airport and even were allowed to have a shower in the spa section of the resort. The room was big and clean, definitely worth the price we paid. There were restaurants and a big supermarket nearby, so that was handy.

The on-site restaurants were a bit expensive, but I guess that's what you get when you stay in a resort in Cancun.

This is a beautiful hotel! Close to plenty of restaurants and bars and has its own wonderful restaurants. It is right on the water with a beautiful beach and pool and the staff is very kind and attentive. They have tons of activities every day like bingo, karaoke, etc. Genuinely cannot get over how good the service was. They were so patient with us as we did not speak Spanish. Luis, Emanuel, Miguel, Grace, and Pamela really stood out with their exceptional service. I would absolutely seek them out if you visit. We didn’t spend much time in the room, but the beds are comfortable, everything is clean, and there is good AC! I would really recommend this hotel.

Not to many English speaking staff

I booked this hotel at the last minute since my other reservation got canceled just before my travel and it was still good value. The room is super large and has its own kitchen and everything you could need, the furniture looks a bit outdated but everything is functional. The rooms are cleaned every day if you don't wish otherwise. The people in the reception were in general ready to help. The beach is beautiful so there was nothing to complain about.

There was a water outage for some hours when we were there. Probably it is not a regular thing but it was frustrating because we got different information from reception every time we called, once we were promised to receive a couple of bottles of water for free but they never arrived.

The location, the staff, and the beach were amazing. We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa and it had plenty of room for our family of 9 and the views were beautiful from our balconies.

When we arrived, someone greeted us and offered us a free breakfast and discounts on tours. We attended the breakfast, and then they tried to sell us a membership that costs $80,000. We turned it down, and they continue to try to sell you cheaper levels. Despite telling them that we were not interested, they do not take "No" very well. It was a waste of their time and ours.
