Hotel Wyspiański

Breakfast was very good. Twin bedrooms were small. Bathroom was tiny. Staff were very helpful.

Lots of noise from latecomers around 1.00am most nights. Could hear through the door. One night, l opened the door and asked them not to make so much noise in the hotel as we were all sleeping or trying to. This wasn't the hotel's fault. Maybe a note requesting people to be extra quiet after 11.00pm.

After reading some good and bad reviews, we weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was in a good location for exploring the city. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and warm. (Visited in December). Great value for money and will definitely use again.

Only one gripe - room had no tea and coffee making facilities.

Big room, beautiful design, great location, the stuff was so nice and helpful and everything was clean and smelled good.

There was no safe or air conditioning in the room. There was no outlet next to the bed to charge my phone.

Friendly staff, clean and great location. Good value for money and nice breakfast selection. Would stay here again and would recommend.

Beds were a little uncomfortable; the matress covers were very plastic and rustled loudly and room was a bit on the small side it was ok for what we needed it for but not alot of space when both trying to get ready etc

Perfect location, with scooter renting spot outside. Local shop just outside. Good tasty drinking tap water. Clean. Beds more on the hard side, which I liked. Lovely helpful staff. Bag storage if you come to early....or you fly late and don't want carry thing with you.

Staff came to clean the room, even when we left 'no disturb' label outside. Wouldn't mind , but all towels were swapped, which was wasteful. No aircon and it was very hot - but at least there was one table fan, so my niece didn't melt. Breakfast was ok, not sure worth the money it cost. Coffee so so but one day I think they had very strong carton flavour milk, which made drink bad, but other day was ok (used cafe twice). No kettle set in the room, but I guess most ppl don't mind that. I haven't ask at reception so might be not a problem. Oh, and I was told I didn't pay for hotel when checked in but only reserved it.....which to be honest I didn't remember, but question it anyway....which very good I did, because they found mistake on the system. I would end up paying twice.

LOCATION! So close to everything, we just walked everywhere!

Room's carpet was very dirty. They either didn't clean at all or they need a better hoover. There were crumbles from previous people all over and that general look of "I don't want to walk here barefoot". Also, room was way too warm, my boyfriend couldn't sleep most of the nights.

Very clean, pleasant, even though it was close to centrum and road, the rooms were quite well soundproofed. I liked the bed a lot because it was with firm mattress. There was a small fridge in the room which was good on a hot summer day so you could put water in there. Room was spacious, quiet, extremely clean, peaceful and it had own pricate bathroom. Air conditioner worked very well as well as the TV if you are looking for some lil entertainment, also the Wi-fi worked surprisingly fast! There is also store called Zabka just on the corner of hotel where you can buy some snacks, drinks and even some fresh fruit & veggies. The staff was very nice and helpful if you had any questions. We only stayed for one night but if I come back to Krakow, I most definitely will come back here.

There was nothing I didnt like, everything was very great!

It's a nice place and looks recently renovated. We just spent one night after a visit to Auschwitz. We arrived late, and we had a parking spot reserved. The room was bigger than expected and had a balcony. The breakfast was good, typical for a hotel breakfast. The restaurant looked very nice. The location is the best part, very close to the old town.

It's not really unexpected, considering the location, but it can be a bit noisy because of proximity to a main street & tram line. The outside wasn't renovated yet and looks a bit dated. Accessing the restaurant for breakfast requires both room access cards (1 card / person), which needs to be scanned before entering. I've never seen this level of security for a hotel breakfast.

Some other guests were exceptionally noisy, as the records request customers to be mindful of noise after 10, I was surprised to hear this going on after 11.30 pm . As reception may have not been aware due to the location I raised with reception and asked them to support with this however the noice in fact increased after this and continued for a long time . Thus resulting in lack of sleep and no availability for late check out

Staff was exceptional. Room was large, clean, quiet even though it faced a main street. Decor was cheerful-wonderful colorful carpeting. Restaurant & bar on site, both very nice. 1 block to public transport. Walking distance to city center, Wawel Castle, Schindler factory.

Water pressure in shower was bad. Limited TV channels, all in Polish. Only 2 channels in English, both news only. Bed was hard. No real mattress, just a 4” topper. Would be nice to have a more sheltered area for smokers, or a smoking lounge. The only area is right outside the front door, exposed to the elements, and it was snowy while I was there.
