Holiday Inn Krakow City Centre, an IHG Hotel

This was our second time staying in this hotel and I must say we had another amazing stay. Hotel staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful. We have received a free upgrade and the kids could not have been happier. Despite the fact that the hotel was very busy with guests, it was very quiet. The toiletries in the bathrooms were amazing, breakfast was nice (although it was really busy - there is a separate seating area for members so that is a bonus). We have used the restaurant beside reception for dinner and two lunches and the food was great - kids up to 12 years of age eat free from the kids menu so that was the added bonus. The cheeseburger and chips were one of the nicest I have ever had. The staff was very friendly and chatty - my kids still talk about how friendly everyone was. The location of the hotel is great - 5 min walk from the Main Market Square. You can walk to Wawel Castle and Kazimierz on foot (circa 30 min walk). Train station with train to/from the airport is 10 - 15 min walking distance.

Everything was great! We did not like the attitude of some of other guests towards the hotel staff. Some guests were very rude towards staff during breakfast without any reason (eg they could not find a glass that was literally next to them). Hotel staff dealt with this in a professional manner.

This hotel has everything you expect for a 5 star hotel. Spotlessly clean throughout the hotel. Food was great and not too expensive. Our room was cleaned daily and topped up with fresh towels, water, coffee etc. Bed and pillows top notch. It was in walking distance of most of the attractions, and a stones throw to the main square. Amazing city and the perfect hotel for a city break

We could not find fault with anything

The hotel location is central to most areas of the city. It's 3 minute walk to tram stop that takes to most parts of the city without having to change. The hotel receptionists were knowledgably on which tram numbers went to which direction/area. The breakfast was exceptionally good, loads of choice. I'd booked an accessible room and it was perfectly suitable - we went with 4 other couples and they all said the same. I would add that every member of staff - receptionists, dining room, bar and cleaners were all smiley polite and very helpful

The hotel is very modern, clean and tidy, with a very comfortable room/bed. The staff were very polite and friendly, and spoke English very well. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of hot and cold choices to suit everyone's requirements. Excellent value for money, and a very convenient location just outside of the Old Town area making it ideal for walking everywhere.

One morning I needed to be collected outside the hotel at 6:45am for an all-day excursion. Breakfast started at 6:30 and there just wasn't enough time to eat first. I asked if I could grab a few things to take outside with me but they wouldn't allow me. This was the only negative thing about my stay there.

This hotel was in a perfect location, not far from the main square, and ideal for lots of different things. I booked a tour to Austwich and the pickup was literally 2 mins from my hotel. Breakfast was well presented with lots of variations to cover all different needs, and the service was fabulous. Reception staff were welcoming and accommodating and always happy to help. Should I return, I would use this hotel again.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like, everything was positive.

thermal baths with the outside bar were superb. Spa had fantastic saunas, and the sauna “event” was awesome. Rooms were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Restaurants were good (schnitzel to die for), but could use more of regional flavor (e.g. steaks were good but just generic, no “oscypek” twist or so).

The club in the basement was a joke, a trip to 90s, also with tables reserved for an external company event (on Friday…).

Staff, especially the Receptionists were excellent. Jacub went the extra mile to make sure the room was our preferred suite. They always been polite and very helpful. Location of the hotel is perfect, one can't find a top accommodation so close to Old City centre ( 2 minutes walking distance away). The hotel itself was renovated recently, has testfully appointed lounge and very comfortable rooms. I can't reccommend highly enough Holiday Inn City Centre to everyone visiting Krakow. Book with confidence and will be nicely surprised with this hotels location, facilities and excelent staff members.

There was nothing I can think of, that I d idn't like. It is an outstanding hotel with only positive impressions.

Hotel was only few minutes from main square. I also messaged hotel to say it was my partners 30th we got upgraded to premium suite and they left an insert with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit which was an excellent touch. The staff were always friendly and helpful as much as they can be.

The hotel bar was expensive but what you'd expect from a hotel.

Parking gate and it´s control in front of hotel yard. Anytime I was leaving I had to leave me car and get back to reception to request opening gate - this is ridiculous in this century and this premium hotel. Voice or control panel on parking panel for the exist did not work at all.

The hotel location was excellent. It was only 10 minutes walk to the old town centre and importantly only 15 minutes walk from the railway station which is where we arrived into Krakow. The breakfast was fantastic a great variety of breakfasts on offer. The room too surpassed anything I could have hoped for.

There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
