Great location between Interlaken Ost & West. Easy to walk to either exploring along the way and then get the excellent train, bus or boat connections to other areas or just keep walking! Beautiful hotel very pretty. Our rooms were lovely, very clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent - lots of choice and plenty of it. The hotel also has a restaurant offering inside and outside eating. The garden area outside is beautiful. Very popular with hotel guests, locals and tourists. Great menu, food was delicious, staff lovely, great atmosphere. Nicole & her team were very helpful and really lovely. We had a wonderful weeks stay. Thank you to everyone.

Nothing all was as expected. The room numbers on the room doors could be more traditional/authentic like the rest of the hotel and maybe this is already an idea.

The hotel is really charming, very authentic in a country style Below the place there is an excellent restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and very tasty meals The place is clean, an atmosphere of peace and calm Very good and rich breakfast The attitude of the staff is very considerate and pleasant Near the hotel there is a beautifully maintained garden with a ping pong table and entertainment for children

At night it was very difficult to sleep because there are no air conditioners Also, we booked a large room for the family and actually got a smaller room with a small window, a very low ceiling and less space It was very disappointing and the owner of the place agreed to move us to a bigger room with a high ceiling and lots of windows That's the only reason we stayed And we're not sorry we stayed We had a wonderful vacation

A beautiful building to stay in with many traditional features. A useful restaurant downstairs having arrived in the evening on the first night after a long travel day. Located in the lovely suburb you could say of Matten. Not far from the centre of Interlaken or the Ost station. The breakfast room was excellent. So much choice. Filled us up every morning. Come away with a love of the 'alpine morning' tea and excellent muesli and croissants. For the size of hotel, it was better than a lot of chain offerings. Great view of the mountains from some tables. Spacious room with plenty of plug sockets (make sure you have the Swiss adaptor, only one European one in the bathroom).

Whilst we were so lucky with the weather whilst there, it therefore meant the room got very hot despite the fan and the blackout blind and we needed some firmer pillows as the ones we had were flat as a pancake. We were given more but more of the same.

Excellent location for getting to the mountains. Great hotel restaurant serving Swiss specialities and more at reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection and top quality. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the area and what to do. The rooms weren’t luxurious but they were comfortable clean and up to date. Ours had a lovely view of the Jungfrau . The availability of free on site parking is a huge advantage. We appreciated being slightly out of town - there are plenty of restaurants nearby but it was nice to escape the summer crowds.

The hotel is on a corner and suffers road noise. It’s quiet at night but it starts up at 7 am. The pillows were rather thin for our personal liking.

Customer service was fantastic, staff are incredibly friendly, breakfast was great, lots to choose from hot&cold food as well as a coffee machine. The room was a good size, so was the bathroom (with shower). The room was clean. We were on the top floor and the room had a balcony outside. We found the pillows to be flat so we asked at reception for extra pillows which they provided. We had a meal one night in the restaurant - delicious!

A little bit nosey as the hotel is on a busy road, however the hotel provided ear plugs in the room which worked really well. We stayed over 3 days, which had lots of sunshine, we found the room to be hot, the fan helped a little.

Hotel Restaurant Hirschen is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Interlaken itself, is the most beautiful place. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 and stayed on 3rd level. Both rooms were extremely clean, comfortable, and cozy. The staff are so nice. Breakfast was amazing and we had dinner one night in their restaurant and loved that too.

There is no elevator so you have to take the stairs, however, do not let that sway you from staying here.

The Hirschen Hotel Restaurant made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with all necessary amenities, and the complimentary breakfast spread was excellent. We did go to their restaurant for dinner; the food was good, but because we are vegetarians, our options were limited. The hotel's location was easily accessible on foot from the main train station, and there was also public transportation nearby. Additionally, the Coop supermarket was conveniently located nearby in case any items were needed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Interlaken.

The stay was wonderful, view from the room was amazing. Staff was very helpful. They installed a new fridge in the room next day after complaining of the non-working fridge which is a super awesome hospitality. The Breakfast was delicious, they even have a small playground for families with kids. Easy to reach, near to the supermarket (Coop) and bus stand. Interlaken central area is at walking distance. Overall, our stay as a family was satisfying and we will recommend to stay at this property.

I think toiletries were a bit less. I was surprised to see no toothpaste, shaving kit, comb etc. which are generally part of toiletries. Only a 2 in 1 Hair and body wash was available. But it was not super inconvenient. The height of the ceiling may be low for taller people, I didnt have any issue as I am 5.7ft but people above 6ft may have some difficulty in walking or standing up in the rooms.

Very good place to stay. Room had plenty of room and was very comfortable. Easily can walk anywhere in town.

Person checking us in did not seem friendly at all. Did not say anything about the hotel or area, initially left us with a bad impression. Check out person was friendly and more interested if our stay was good.

The hotel met all our expectations about staying in the traditional Swiss chalet. It's a historical charming building (from XVII century!) run by two nice ladies - one of them is a chief cook. Our 3-person room was comfortable despite low ceilings, but that's the whole charm of a historical wooden chalet. It was a bit hot, but sleeping with an open window without air condition was a real quality, as the neighbourhood is really quiet and there is nothing better than the mountain fresh air. Breakfast was opulent, with fresh local products. Every night we were eating at the restaurant downstairs; the food was traditional Swiss, mainly from the local products, very tasty, good local wine and beer; our little one was very happy with the kid's menu and she did not even want to listen about eating somewhere else (and she's very picky); excellent service, very attentive staff with a natural smile; Free parking adjacent to the hotel was extremely handy. We hope to come back to this place.

The bathroom was very small, but sufficient for a short stay (personally I would exchange the bathtub with a shower) :-). It would be very handy to have some more hooks to hang towels/clothes and some shelves to put cosmetics. Also the sofa was a bit "tired".
