We loved our stay! The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. We appreciated the robes and shoes left for us (including kids' sizes for my small kids!) The pools were wonderful and we put them to great use. The breakfast in particular was fantastic - a wonderful spread with plenty of options, including a whole table of gluten-free products! My only note is the location (and it's not a bad note, just something to be aware of for other guests without a car who want to explore) - it's a 20-minute very uphill/up lots of stairs walk from the lake/town so just keep that in mind. The view is stunning, though!

Very friendly staff, quick check in. The garden is very big and beautiful, a lot of space for my son to run around. Generally, hotel is very family and child friendly. Once during dinner our 20 month old son got tired and was a bit uneasy. The lovely waiter came over and was folding a little paper boat. Thank you for that! Spa section is nice, with a warm indoor pool. I asked to pick us up from Lugano train station, the pickup was for free, thanks a lot for that. We also asked for a baby bed and our son received a decent and big baby bed. We shall come again.

I came together with my husband and asked at booking to have one big single bed. Instead of that we received two beds next to each other and when we were cuddling, always one of us almost fell in the middle.

Convenient location for the railway station and short walk to the old town area and lakeside. Bedroom very nice, spacious as was the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, large variety of food available with superb outlook outside to surrounding area. The local bus number 4 from station stops outside hotel. Would recommend this hotel for the price payed.

Slight drawback was the slow checkout with only one member of staff doing it (we were in a hurry to catch our booked train excursion). Hotel operates it's own shuttle to the station for guests fortunately.

Nice pool and good sized room with pool and lake view. The gym is fantastic. There’s even a CrossFit setup in the outside area at the back. Had a very good massage as well.

I think it’s very poor that you have to pay extra for them to put anything in the kitchen (after booking we were told just before arriving it’s an extra 50chf if you actually want to be able to use the kitchen facilities). Parking was also an extra cost but we expected that.

The location was perfect, with the bus stop at the entrance. The breakfast was great, with a large selection of hot and cold dishes. The apartment was fabulous, spacious and the view was amazing

The kitchen was "empty". You could have it equipped for an extra Chf50 per day. I think this is unacceptable and surely they can supply cutlery and crockery as part of your billing

Very good breakfast buffet with a lot of selection, Great pool and whirlpool, Best view ever, Very nice, friendly and helpful staff, Good location. Very clean. Absolutely huge apartment. I was unsure wheter to book based on some reviews stating the furniture is old etc but the furniture was quite ok and more importantly for me at this time it was spotless. We could sunbathe at the outside pool area (as we had such a nice weather) even if the outside pool was not yet accessible. The hotel gardens are just beautiful. A free shuttle picked us up from the train station. Very pleasant staff. I am a picky sleeper but the street noise was not a concern at all here. Room service was tasty.

For kitchen equipment you have to pay 50francs a day which is steep. This is a very nice hotel but it was unexpected and should be made clear upfront. The fassade from the pool side would deserve a lick of paint.

Excellent hotel facilities, especially the pools, the gym and the restaurants. Rooms really spacious with a spectacular view. Really well located.

Paying for the kitchen is fine, but it needs to be properly equipped when we pay the extra fee. We were missing some basics, so this should be looked at for future guests.

Very accommodating for Gluten free dietary requirements. Pool was fantastic. Lovely staff.

So the hotel in fact is a residential place and not only a hotel. It does have the Best view in Lugano looking over the city and lake. the rooms are old and not in the best condition - you can see marks on the walls and really old style. the villa itself is a great place for photos and romantic occuasions.

The decor of the old rooms is belong in the far past - the rooms are big but empty if that makes sence. i would advise to the hotel to renew the "hotel Rooms" and than it would be truly magical.

Great facilities.

Extra charges for all sorts. For example, we booked an apartment (incl. kitchen) but they asked for an extra payment of 50 CHF per day for the cutlery and pots. Similarly, when asking for oats during breakfast for our little one they wanted to charge extra. Very stingy given the room prices.
