Byron Palms Guesthouse & Spa - Adults Only

1. no tissue boxes, at least one is required in communal area. 2. children were at the resort, which goes against what is advertised. 3. pool was not cleaned on the week we were there, beautiful place but the pool should have been cleaned of fallen leaves. 4. pool and beach towels were only dried in dryer not washed, which I didn’t think was right or hygienic, I do understand heat from dryer would destroy most bacteria but sharing towels with strangers is extremely unhygienic

The magnesium pool was lovely. There were nice areas to sit out in the sun by the pool. Parking was good. The staff and management were friendly and really lovely. The breakfast room was laid out very nice and you could go and make a tea/coffee/chocolate drink whenever you wanted.

The room we had was smallish and we needed a bit more cupboard space for a 3 night stay in the room and the bathroom to put clothes, shoes and toiletries. Our only suggestion would be the 2 cubed bedside tables for the lamps (which were lovely by the way) could have done with some drawers in and maybe more shelves in bathroom. Other than that it was a great stay.

Super comfortable king bed, wonderful magnesium pool and chill out areas to lounge about. Perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to everything on the main street and as described, an adults only haven in the middle of Byron.

Petty things but the speaker on our TV wasn't the best and as we had the wheelchair access room the bathroom floor seemed to get water everywhere. A wee water scraper would be great to tidy after a shower. Otherwise lovely venue would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable clean property. Breakfast was healthy with a diverse range of fresh fruit,cereal a d toast.

I am not a fan of digital property management. The code for the front door did not work and there was no one around to ask for help. I rang the number listed and it went to voicemail. A few minutes later my call was returned and I was given a new pass code. The front door to the room was loose and it rattled all night. Property is away from the centre of town so have to drive to most places, but it was very quiet.

Staff was super friendly, the hotel is really cute with a nice pool and a tropical vibe. Room was clean and bathroom was perfect, even though the room wasn't very big, it had everything you needed and we had a small terrace outside our room that was perfect for lounging after the beach. Breakfast was good and always on time. The location was very convenient, just 10 min walk to the main beach and close to downtown and all the restaurants. They gave us beach towels and had a hanging rack in case we wanted to use them again, which I loved (very conscious with the planet). We had an amazing time it was wonderful, the perfect couple's retreat.

I liked everything, just a friendly suggestion for breakfast all the toppings were sweet, something savory like cheese, ham, avocado, etc would make it even better.

The Openness of the space and the general layout. beds were so comfortable. so clean and scented. everyone I spoke with and meet Phil in the morning where helpful and such a lovely energy

it’s always better to be meet by someone on the property. yes it’s a self entry but things can happen. my phone lost its battery and I didn’t have a code so lucky I walked in thru the back entrance and was able to find power outlet. when I arrived I would have loved to have meet some one and used the spa and sauna but not being meet did not help me.

Good location just out of the centre but a short walk in. We only had breakfast on the final day as we had to leave early for some surf lessons we had booked- when we did have it it was great. Rooms are light and airy and nice bathroom.

Thin walls, we were there during the schoolies week unbeknownst to us.. this meant neighbours were very loud into the night which was annoying as the walls are thin and it felt like you were there with them! maybe start breakfast earlier than 8:30am for guests that need to get going in the morning. Not a criticism just an idea!

Our room was very clean and the bed exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was served in the common area and was well presented. The surroundings were lovely and relaxing.

The only fault we could find with the property was the pool was not open for the advertised hours. Had we known the pool would be closed earlier than advertised we would have modified our plans and had a swim before dinner instead of our planned swim after dinner. Minor inconvenience really

The place is very nice and stuff is very friendly. We loved the pool, it was very nice to chill during a hot day.

The room we stayed in had a shower room with an "open plan" - toilet, shower without doors or curtain, washing sink. That was very inconvenient as water was splashing everywhere. Continental breakfast was quite limited. It would be nice if we had boiled eggs, cheese and ham in addition. Parking was a challenge. Especially getting in and out of the property. Though we had enough parking during our stay.

Spacious, quiet and you feel sooo peaceful. Very relaxing. Location is great and you can walk to the shops. Peter, the owner, is very accommodating to his guests needs and is happy to have a chat with you or leave you in peace. I treated myself to a massage that you have the opportunity for on the premises through the business of 'Mystic Flow'. Felipe, also the manager, has created a tranquil space that instantly helps you feel relaxed and peaceful. The combination of both relaxation massage and energy healing is so divine, leaving you feeling delicious and completely blissed out. Thank you so much for holding sacred space for me Felipe. I stayed for two nights and only left the property to get lunch and snacks once. All I did was chill, relax and completely switch off- I didn't realize how much I needed this time out for myself. This space was perfect. I can't recommend this property enough. I'll definitely be back!!!
