The Bower Byron Bay

I thought the accommodation was beautiful. I loved the style of the hotel, rooms and pool area. My room was very spacious and the facilities were very clean and in great condition. I loved the beach vibe with all the plants etc around the bungalow rooms and in between the parking lots.

There was a pool bar but it wasn't very well attended. Anytime we required a drink we had to go in search of a staff member however when they did come they were very friendly and helpful. For a hotel I thought it unusual that the reception did not open until 9am and on the day I was leaving I had to leave at 7.30am and leave my key in a dropbox therefore I could not check my final bill and simply got my card charged later that morning.

The room was set up well with a fridge, cutlery, plates and ice. The room was modern and comfortable and the beds were great. Temperature was easily controlled. The pool was great and it had a intimate feel with lounging areas and a bartender. We walked into town and it was the perfect distance to walk off a meal after a great night. Be sure to try Light Years. It was really good. We also had lunch at Raes near Wategos Beach and drinks at the Beach Bar and dinner at Balcony Bar and Oysters. The walk to the light house and Captain Cooks was a great hike.

The pool is excellent. The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating. We generally enjoyed our stay and would return if not for a few items below. I am not just typing these extra words to make the bar go all the way green....

The bed could do with some firmer pillows. The TV in the room was difficult to use and did not have many options which was a little frustrating. I'd upgrade the TV's in each room and make them more user friendly and get some more options for channels. I mean, I found the accommodation price compared to other hotels in Byron a bit more expensive but I don't really have any other stay to compare it to and I don't know your over heads.

The Bower is exceptional in every way! Great location with the General Store next door, Bamboo yoga and the new Johnson St precinct 5 mins walk away. Beautifully styled rooms comfortable beds, lots of fluffy white towels, cool local minibar selections, Kevin Murphy hair and body products to name a few! The round mineral Pool is divine and the staff are friendly and so helpful! Highly recommended !

Fantastic, very impressive!!! The facilities and rooms are great, all the rooms in the Bower are separate, very personal and pay attention to details, the vibe makes we feel really escape from outside! The location is great, very close to the Centre and beaches, but quite quiet. Next to the General cafe. Thanks the Bower to make our mini trip so perfect! We will come back and wish to book the villa next time!

Beautiful pool area and well styled rooms, combined with really friendly and helpful staff. communication was excellent!

The bathroom design is really flawed - the bathroom door opened too close to the shower, the shower door banged against the shower head and it was impossible to turn the shower on without getting wet. This can prove dangerous if someone leaves the tap on hot and the next person doesn’t realise the issue. For a hotel of this price point, this is something that should be addressed. In addition, while we loved being a little further away from the main strip of shops and restaurants (especially during schoolies week), this wouldn’t suit everyone, and the streetscape of adjacent properties was off putting.

Staff were incredible, made us feel extremely special. Room was good exceptional, the mattress could’ve been better though, that is my only very small negative about the entire 4 night stay. Will definitely be back !

the guest reception area had a nice fresh scent from the fragrant diffusers on display. the room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Ample car parking onsite and you can park in front of your allocated room. the pool was amazing and the bathroom there was well stocked up and very clean.

The warm welcome and super luxe style and gorgeous glam vibe of the property! super comfy bed, robes and slippers to relax and take in the beautifully curated room. The warmed magnesium pool was so relaxing and such a super stylish space to take in a cocktail or too! Everything about this property is stunning!

Lovely room - well air conditioned and very comfortable bed, great location, easy walk to everywhere but outside of the hustle and bustle so no noise, fab pool and great little pool bar

All was great, would have been nice if pool bar was open a little later than 5pm but not a problem
