Tall Timbers Motel

Friendly and helpful staff. They allowed us to make use of the room after the usual 10 am departure time to shower and dress following a morning's bike ride. Top marks for that! The WiFi worked well and the motel is positioned right in the heart of town and close to good cafes and a great restaurant.

The room was a little on the small side and the sliding mirror doors which hid the bathroom took a little while to get used to.

The hosts were very welcoming, check in was easy and quick and my room was just right, clean and comfortable with good aircon as a little cold outside. I was also able to leave my car parked outside later after check out as I had a few things to do in Dungog. Lovely, amenable hosts, I will return. Excellent value!

Beds were very comfortable, air conditioner was quiet, water was hot, close to good cafes and staff were lovely and very helpful.

Old fashioned rooms but it's a country town and regardless of that it was really comfortable. Could do with taller, brighter bedside lamps.

central location with a comfortable bed. the cleaner knew my name when she asked if I needed anything which was a nice touch. they also provided a jug of fresh milk for tea and coffee which I liked.

it's a typical no frills motel. not much to the facility other than the rooms. also the reception was unattended when we checked out at 9am, and given check out is 10am I'd think it would be a busy time for them.

Bed was very comfortable, great location, easy access to all attractions, cafes, etc.

Apart from the room needing to be updated and the TV not being easily seen from the bed, there was nothing else that we disliked.

Loved that it was in the heart of Dungog which is a quaint and pretty town with friendly people. Room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and best of all pet friendly! Managers were very responsive and friendly.

We ate breakfast at the Barn across the road. Rooms are aged however very clean. Bed was comfy. We only slept we did not hang out all day The guy at reception was very welcoming. Air conditioning worked great as it was a hot day.

The location was great. On the Main Street and close to IGA, restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and was just what we needed with toaster, kettle and bar fridge.

Located in the centre of town, this motel is walking distance to all you need for food, pubs, etc. The room was clean and tidy with milks provided for tea/coffee. Great to walk around town and check out the history of the place.

The entry to the bathroom was a bit quirky. You open the wardrobe door to access the bathroom. Feels like you're going through a tunnel. This may well be fixed when the rooms are renovated.

Main street location in a local town that is becoming a trendy/friendly place. Grabbed a burger at the local brewery just a stroll away. Room was clean & surprisingly warm in July with no heating needed.

No complaints.
