Eden Gateway Holiday Park

The villa has ample room for our family of three, including a 4 year old. Having individual rooms was a plus as this meant my child could sleep early while the adults stayed up. The kitchen was handy for preparing our dinner and breakfast, with a good sized fridge. Shower was surprisingly large with multiple features. It rained while we stayed so couldn't use any of the other facilities in the park, but appreciated the playground for little ones.

With no cupboards or places for luggage storage, some hooks behind the doors or on walls would be handy to hang coats and clothes. We kept our luggage in the kitchen as we didn't want to leave them unattended in the car.

Great value for money! We wanted separate bedrooms with double beds - which can be hard to find. Lovely balcony. Clean and very comfortable. Manager was lovely and helpful. We were overall very impressed

We arrived just after dark, and could not find our cabin, even though we had a map. We found the numbering of sites confusing, and thought the numbering/naming of cabins should be more obvious. Map colour coding could improve by using contrasting colours.. The heaters could gradually be updated, perhaps.

The park grounds are beautiful, spacious and quiet. I stayed 'overnight' on our first night of what should have been a 4 day drive to Qld, in a cabin with my daughter who became ill. The staff were so fantastic, they were so very helpful and understanding, extending our stay day by day. I didn't use the park facilities but went for a wander around them, they are really well set up, especially the family bathroom, the deck area and fire pit outside the indoor camp kitchen and although it's all a bit old and dated, it is clean and maintained. The location is convenient to the shops, lots of walks, the main road through Eden, but not noisy. It's a 3 min drive or 20 min walk to nearest beach.

Great location Comfortable beds Great facilities, the pool area is particularly fantastic and the jumping pillow was a great central location for the kids to meet new friends Staff were very helpful and accommodating to our requests especially as we had arrived just after a recent extensive downpour which made the ground outside our cabin very muddy The manager Wayne made sure to put down some product outside all the cabins to help which we were very grateful for He also organised a movie night for the kids which was loads of fun He is a definite asset to the park and he made our stay that much more enjoyable

Unfortunately due to new rules the pool and jumping pillow had to be closed down by 5:30pm which was disappointing as daylight savings had ended and we had more light to enjoy the park The basketball court had also been removed due to being unsafe but we certainly hope they put a new court in to replace it

We were greeted by a welcoming and informative, helpful receptionist. The cabin has a spacious living area for just two of us and decorated in bright cheerful colours. A full sized stove , full sized fridge and well equipped kitchen . Bedroom had side tables, good reading lamps, blanket so the doona could be removed and extra pillows. There is a second bedroom with 4 bunks. A small bathroom with a washing machine ( clothes rack provided ) but helped by a separate toilet. A pleasant patio with table and chairs. Located on the edges of the town but quiet except for the delightful bellbirds.

Our only issue was muddy ground - there had been a lot of rain - but the down pipe flows near the front steps. There were only two of us in this family cabin - it could be tighter with a full family.

i have been coming to Eden for the past 30 years on my annual fishing holiday, I have stayed here for the past 6/7 years always clean and tidy 95% of the time nice and quiet, i always book the twin room cabin as they are nice and roomy and the cabin has everything i could need

Such a great location, clean and well maintained grounds. Perfect size for a solo and couple staying. Excellent shower, kitchen has everything you need and a perfect deck out front to sit back on. Easy access in and out of property with safe key pick up and drop off.

Beds were a bit hard. Make sure you close the screen doors or cockroaches will sneak in. I

It was a great trip tht we had, prime location. Although my car broke down on the way. Need my battery charged, once we arrived, I asked for help, the maintenance guy from the property named Jason helped me up so much. I really appreciate the help, Thanks heaps to Jason. We safely back to Melbourne~ Cheers

It was clean, spacious and quite. The staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained, inside and out. The laundry, kitchen and BBQ area were all clean and hygienic. There is entertainment for children with pool, playground, games room, jumping pillow, pedal karts and outdoor cinema (subject to availability) It's in a beautiful location, we will defiantly be back.

The new manager was lovely the rooms were large and well maintained the park itself was well maintained really good stay

The place was perfect for our stay very clean and really quiet apart from the birds
