Seashells Apartments Merimbula

Quiet location, with the exception of the odd plane taking off from the nearby airport- but not often enough to bother us. Ample space for two people with a lounge/kitchen, seperate bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Premises were nicely presented and clean. Had everything needed for a holiday e.g. air freshener, fly spray, washer/dryer….and even a pair of scissors! Good communications from owners.

Our only two very minor negatives (given as constructive feedback) were that the bathroom extraction fan was heavy with dust and the washing machine had black gunk in between the rubber seal which required wiping out (recommend wiping after each guest stay and leaving door open to allow it to air).

Very understanding owner when I stuffed up the timing of our visit and extremely obliging and friendly. The apartment was very well equipped. Appliances were high quality and the fridge was beautifully quiet. Excellent internet WiFi. The location was absolutely perfect with on-site parking and a short walk to the beach. Nice comfy bed with electric blanket for those chilly nights.

Wasn't really a fan of the induction cooktop, but once mastered, it was quick to cook. It was a bit tricky to get the shower temperature right.

Very clean apartment, spacious and well thought out. We enjoyed spending time in the apartment on rainy days reading a book and relaxing, didn’t feel cramped or claustrophobic but quite homely. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom/toilet was small but still very clean and easy to manage. Loved the little breakfast bar to sit at and eat meals, decor and furnishings were clean and well maintained. Best location to walk to town, heard the ocean waves each night which was very soothing. Beach is basically a street away and even got to go for a swim during our stay! Highly recommend if you are looking for an easy, quiet getaway.

Seashells is a small block and meticulously kept. It had everything that we needed and was in an excellent location near the lake and the sea. Michael was always around to help if needed.

A small comment is that could have had more kitchen crockery so that we could use the dishwasher. There were the minimum of plates , cups and glasses. The pool is small and at certain times shaded but it is close to the sea.

We were very happy and comfortable at Seashells Apartments. The apartment was clean and thoughtfully equipped. We liked the location too - walking distance from town, where we went for brunch and dinner, and around the corner from the excellent Cranky's cafe. It's also close to beaches for swimming.

It's not really a "dislike" but a suggestion: one night was colder than expected, but not cold enough for the heavy spare blankets provided. If going again at a similar time of year (March-April) I'd take a lap rug to use on the bed on a cooler than normal night.

The rooms were nicely decorated and clean, beds were comfy enough. The kitchen was fully functional with a decent dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, etc. which made everyday stuff a breeze. The location was fantastic, right next to the beach (and a great fish and chip shop) and just a short 5 minute drive from the centre of town. The owners were fantastic, helpful and friendly.

Only one gripe, the parking spot was extremely tight for our apartment!

Our Seashells Apartment was in a quiet part of Merimbula. We loved it As a place to stay for a few days it was ideal, so beautifully maintained and great facilities. Owners Michael and Kristen were delightful and very informative about the area. Highly recommend it for couples who appreciate lovely furnishings,, and going for walks along the Merimbula lake , or cooking freshly caught fish.on the BBQ. Stay the week or more, it is perfect in early Spring. !

Nice location, good facility, clean

The maximum number of people is 4 people, my friend’s boy come to here to play with my nephew, he’s a 7 years old boy. The manager said he would charger extra $20 for that ?

The appartement was in a great location close to the beach and an easy walk into town. The living room and bedrooms were a good size. It was very quiet when we were there.

The bathroom was very small. The pots and pans in the kitchen were too small to feed a family of four. There were two very small pots and one ridiculously big pot.

Lovely older style but newly renovated apartment in the Fishpen area of Merimbula. Excellent location - close to beach, town, walks and great coffee spots. Room was all we needed - clean, well-equipped kitchen and washing machine. Hosts were fantastic.
