Great location, very comfortable rooms and good value for money. The pool with accompanying cabana is an absolute delight. The quality of the accomodation was matched only by the friendliness of the staff, especially the lovely man at the front desk. Bonus points for being able to buy a Dare iced coffee at reception!

Everything was great, no complaints.

Spotless little motel with super friendly owners, I highly reccommend The Pelican. We arrived with a baby which means lots of gear and extra questions but nothing was too hard for Tom on the front desk. Walked to dinner that night and the water for breakfast the next day. There's lots of good motel options in Merimbula it seems, but we were so happy we fluked The Pelican - we'll be back.

Welcoming on arrival beautifully situated to the towns amenities. Enjoyed the refreshing pool and the daily room service. All the staff were lovely friendly and very obliging. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I would recommend to fellow travellers. Even the guests were friendly which was a bonus. I will look forward to staying again in the future when I'm revisiting the area. It was a very satisfying and positive experience one that I will always remember with great cheer so I thankyou all for making my trip so pleasurable. I am truly grateful that I chose to stay with you.

When we arrived, Tom(?) was extremely friendly with his greeting and welcomed us warmly. The room was spacious for a family of four, including two 'adult-size' teenagers. The TV - WOW!!! After staying at so many motels with postage stamp sets, this was incredible. Made watching the evening cricket a joy. The room was beautifully cleaned and well-appointed. In a first for us, we were informed not to wash the crockery and cutlery, as it was replaced daily with fresh items from the dishwashers - Excellent. Laundry was available on site, and very reasonable in its fees. Motel location was superb - a brief walk to anything in Merimbula. Overall, very comfortable and met our needs. Thank you.

We thought the rates were a little pricey, but that's to be expected given the season and coming out of numerous lockdowns over the past couple of years. Parking - NOT the Motel Management's fault - idiots that can't read. Parking is assigned by room with nose to kerb as displayed on signs, but still there were morons that backed in (to the wrong spot), gassing us in our rooms. More signs please, and advise it strongly at check-in. First world, but annoying.

The new pool house was such a treat. What a great way to surprise and delight. Loved it!

Close to center, shops, supermarkets. Availability of BBQ facilities and loan kit to use it. Swimming pool area with very comfortable sun & shadow areas including sofas. Rooms with fridge and some dishes and cutlery.

No good place to wash the dishes (that were not enough for two meals). Ideally they would be put in the dish washer and replaced everyday but with the Christmas day this was not always possible. The beds/maitresses were also a bit on the hard side for my back meaning nights were not always pleasant.

Unlike many Merimbula Motels, this one has had a recent update. Although things like the bathroom floor tiles are still from the 90s, everything else is new and modern. They have lake views and are very central to restaurants, bars, and the supermarket. They have shade blinds for privacy and black out blinds for a sleep in. The room, towels, and sheets are clean and smell nice. It's also nice to be greeted by such a friendly owner.

The bed was starting to get a little lopsided but still comfy.

The location is excellent, so close to everything within walking distance, room was spacious, clean, VERY COMY BED you will have a good nights sleep here, i liked that they had a note with the cups plates etc, saying DONT wash leave out and we will put through dishwasher, first time ive seen this in a motel, and at least I know the dishes were properly cleaned before we used so that was good, loved that the milk for coffee supplied was real milk ! That makes for a nice coffee !

A very good motel, within the city but off the Main Street hence no noise and quite peaceful place. The In has all amenities to make your vacation comfortable - good sized rooms with comfortable beds, extra pillows and fresh linen, small kitchenette with utensils, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and tea coffee sachets replenished everyday, clean spacious bathrooms with fresh towels and toiletries, a guest laundry (takes $6 for a wash and $4 for a dry), small clean pool with a bbq area and free guest parking with room numbers marked for each parking. And within 5-10 mins walking distance are lots of resturant, woolys, Aldi, petrol bunk just opposite and a movie theatre. The wifi connection is very good.

due to the business of the period when we stayed, the staff repeated forgot some essentials to replace after cleaning, like cups and glasses. also, the kitchenette doesn’t have a washbasin or dishwashing facilities, so you have to rely on daily cleaning service to get fresh stuff. only a minor issue for us, not a big problem.

Check-in was easy regardless of my late arrival. Room was large with parking next-door, bed comfortable and great pillows. Room was adequately stocked with utensils and crockery to prep a light meal and breakfast. Location was great, able to walk to supermarkets and cafes. Tom very helpful with local information. Would definitely like to stay longer next time to visit more of the area.

Can't say that there was anything I didn't like.
