Heritage House Motel & Units

Cynthia made checking in a breeze - she let us know enroute which apartment to head to, where to park & and had it unlocked and ready so we were able to skip stopping in at reception and go direct to our accommodation. Our apartment was spacious, clean and had a well-equipped kitchen, and laundry dryer provided in the bathroom. I didn't think that we would use either of those amenities much during our stay, but with a number of eateries closing earlier or not being open over public holidays having our own private facilities was a blessing. We cozied up on the lounges and made good use of the complementary Netflix over a few rainy evenings, and we also enjoyed the view & the sea breeze sitting out having breakfast and drinks on our private balcony area on the evenings and mornings that were fine.

Our family are all quite tall/broad - the corner shower was a bit tighter than what we are used to!

1)Cleanliness... the room is very clean and well maintained. 2)Location is also good, next to whale museum and also can see the sea. Also it's in the heart of the centre, with access to all shops, restaurants, Coles, IGA, BWS and what not.

Very limited supply of toiletries and stuffs like tea bags, sugar sachet, cookies. This is very unlike any other motel/hotel we have stayed in various places in and outside Australia. With 2 adults and 1 kid staying for 3 days, if supplies are not replenished, it is not a good experience. We had to go and ask for it. During our stay for 3 nights, we could not get the room tied up once, though we kept the 'Please tidy my room' signage.

The Manager Andrew here is A1. He just knows how to look after guests and make the best of their time in Eden. He explained what one could see, visit take a morning trip to see the Whales and dolphins through to good places fot breakfast and an evening meal. The Motel is traditional, personal and was spotless. A home from home. On the ground floor my room was clean and comfortable for 2 nts. The Motel is central.and everything is within easy walking distance.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant. There was a washing machine and dryer in the apartment. We had our own assigned parking space. The apartment was in walking distance to the restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and beach. Also, we were just a short walk from the Killer Whale Museum. Additionally, the apartment and town were centrally located between the north and south sections of Ben Boyd National Park. Cynthia, the manager, was most helpful with local information and directions.

I think Andrew was very attentive and informative since this is our first trip to Eden. The room is better than my expectation, it's large, clean and comfortable. Location is very much central to all amenities in Eden.

Nothing I didn't like however I'm sensing the kitchen floor is a bit dusty. The bedroom and bathroom are totally clean.

stayed for 2 nights. very clean and spacious. all necessities provided. kitchen was well equipped. reception staff very helpful and friendly. location is great - museum and wharf to the left (2 min and 10min walk respectively), city centre to the right - 5min walk. having laundry was great and we cleaned all our dirty clothes after the hike. will stay here again if in this area.

Location is fabulous, room was quiet and clean, check in was easy and very friendly staff member who gave wonderful recommendations for sight seeing and places to eat. Netflix on the tv is a great bonus. The room itself was huge, with lots of space to move about.

Given the location of the room my "ocean view" was obscured by a big 4WD in the parking spot outside the window - not a huge deal but I ended up having the curtains closed for privacy the whole time. Bed was very firm which isn't for me and keeps me awake, but will suit anyone who prefers that. Very steep block if you struggle with that.

Friendly staff, central location close to shops, pub & cafes. Walking distance to Coles & IGA. The one bed apartment (unit 5) was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is large & bright. Lots of natural light in the room from big windows. Washer & dryer in the bathroom was useful. We didn't use the spa in the bathroom.

The aircon is in one corner in the lounge. No air comes to the bedroom. We had to keep the window open for air flow. This would be a big issue in peak summer. The shower cabinet is very small. Would be a real issue for larger people. The cabinet door needs a suction close as it is very easy to touch the door & open it due to the small cabinet & you end up with water getting outside the cabinet. The extraction fan in the bathroom is next to useless & the bathroom does not have a window.

really nice one bedroom apartment, roomy bedroom and very clean. Lovely newly appointed bathroom with spa was unexpected, and also had washing machine and dryer. Couches and beds were very comfy, and a short walk to main street of Eden. Very responsive staff.

dining chairs were not so comfy and the wifi was not very good.

Great value for money, we stayed in an apartment and found it spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. The staff were something else, Michelle in particular went way above and beyond and we would like to personally thank her for her invaluable help, kindness, professionalism and superb all-round service. 😊
