Fitzroy Motor Inn

We arrived early however the friendly staff had prepared the room and we were able to store our bags, which was great. The room was freshly painted, very clean with the usual facilities available. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The location is excellent; very close walking distance to the town centre. We loved our brief stay and will recommend to others.

Cannot think of anything really; it appears to be a very well run and maintained motel run by professional staff. Possibly having a box of tissues in the room would be worthwhile but that is a minor observation.

The location of the motel worked good for us..

We came back from the speedway, sitting in the back alley having a few drinks not making much noise.. This fella and his misses staying at the motel at tax payers expense (not the full quid) complained about us, but arriving back at the motel this fella was outside blewing with his misses. Owner got woken up by complainer. Next morning the owner had a bit of attitude.

Had THE BEST COOKED BREAKFAST in my life. I love cafes in Sydney but country cooking must be better as those sausages were the tastiest in my life. The accomm was perfect. We had a 2 bedroom apartment as travelling with teenager. Beds so comfortable, best night sleep. Hosts gracious & kind

Nothing not to like. To us it was perfect.

Could not fault our stay here at all. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided. We were greeted warmly by the host John even with our late check in. The shower was perfect, the bed was comfortable and the rooms were quiet makes for a perfect stay after a long drive.

Nothing at all to dislike.

The staff were lovely to deal with and very accommodating of requests. We arrived around 1am and they messaged me earlier in the day with all of the information we needed to be able to enter our room with ease. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy! We will definately stay here if we are ever passing through Grafton again!

Arrived early but room was ready and checkin fast. The room was decorated in a fresh contemporary style with 60” TV wall mounted. We had a large single and queen bed, both comfy with good mattresses, crisp white sheets and doona. There were extra pillows and blankets in wardrobe. Air con was quiet and efficient. Shower was not huge but fitted me (size 16) in OK. Good hot water, toiletries and huge soft fluffy towels. Had toaster, kettle, microwave plenty of tea and coffee. Even had teapot with leaf tea and fresh milk. Nice touch! View out shutters on window was of palm trees and beautiful blue pool. Felt like a tropical holiday. If you request ground floor you can park right in front of room making it easy to access with luggage. Very nice stay thank you.

Centrally located. Clean & comfortable. Quality materials used. Good shower. The staff were extremely helpful, pleasant, courteous, friendly. Good advice about the area, particularly which restaurants to go to. Value for money

The accommodation was very clean and well kept

The showers were absolutely horrible. Barely any pressure and could not get it set to a nice temperature and when you did get it to a nice temp it would change to boiling hot or freezing cold straight after getting it set right

We stayed because of medical procedures. Helen was extremely helpful to us, organising things when we had to stay longer than booked. We stayed in 2 different rooms, both were clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice beds.

Toilet seat was loose room 4, the only little problem.

I am a female who travels alone for work each week. Generally I feel uncomfortable wherever I stay however, I have now stayed at the Fitzroy in for around a month on and off and every single aspect is perfect. the staff are wonderful, facilities are clean and modern and nothing is ever a hassle! I couldn’t recommend this place more and am sincerely thankful for this place!
