Clarence River Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was cooked by our host Terri-was wondeful and she went out of her way to make us whatever we wanted! The house is stunning. Rooms comfortable and beautifully appointed! Wood work throughout the house made by Greg is outstanding and adds to the character and charm of the place! Clarence the Koala visited and many kangaroos and black cockatoos! We even saw an Echidna! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone! Get there early though so you can enjoy the surroundings!

3rd visit & excellent, as usual! Best stay in the Clarence hands-down. Exceptional hospitality, service, setting, meals and accommodation. Beautiful grounds, right on the river, with wonderful views in a tranquil, peaceful country property setting. Lots of native animals and birds to watch, including up close and friendly roo joeys, possums, wallabies and a resident koala in the gum trees. Really exceptional. UNHESITATINGLY, & HIGHLY, RECOMMEND TERRY AND GREG AS OUTSTANDING HOSTS WHO OFFER AN AMAZING PLACE AT THE HIGHEST STANDARD FOR VERY, VERY, REASONABLE RATES. HIGHLY PERSONABLE, LOVELY PEOPLE WHOSE EFFORTS AND LEVEL OF WORK AND PRIDE IN THEIR PLACE IS FULLY EVIDENT IN THE GREAT EXPERIENCE THEY OFFER GUESTS. EXCEPTIONAL. MAXIMUM STARS!!

Leaving to go home. Can't fault anything. Truly exceptional hospitality in a great setting. Very relaxing, top-quality accommodation, meals, rooms, views and facilities. Beautiful grounds and river views. Pleasant on all counts. Definitely coming back.

This is an excellent B&B establishment - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were so well looked after by the owners, Terry and Greg. Our room, on the first floor, overlooked the Clarence River, and came complete with a couple of nesting Willy Wagtails on the balcony. Downstairs there was even a pet kangaroo on the back lawn. The room had beautiful wooden furniture, a spa bath, fluffy white towels and quality linen on the bed. A delicious continental breakfast served on the downstairs balcony was included. For an additional charge, we were able to have a cooked evening meal in the B&B's dining room. This was appreciated as you are some distance from the nearest restaurants in Grafton.

Nothing to dislike - we had a wonderful and very positive experience.

The location is rather remote which is good for a quiet retreat. It is next to a river, with a ramp for boats, so it's excellent for visiting boats and for launching off boats and kayaks. The hosts, Terry and Greg were excellent. We have a self catering cottage which was clean, well equipped and comfortably warm in the winter, The hosts have a pet kangaroo, Holly, which was a hit with the children and adults alike. There were also lots of visiting wild wallabies. We had cooked breakfast and dinner in the B and B and the food was exceptional.

Only the weather - it was raining throughout our stay, and beyond the control of the B & B.

The staff Terry and Greg warmly greeted us and helped us find the best room for our honeymoon. It was a 😍 lovely room and we felt quite comfortable. We spent lots of time roaming the grounds and especially spent time either lounging on the hanging beds overlooking the gorgeous River or sitting in the camp.kitchen listening to the ponds. The food was remarkable and everything was done with a smile. Could not be happier with where we picked to stay.

The room had a private veranda where we had our dinner, overlooking the Clarence river and beautifully cared for gardens. There were wallabies and a kangaroo, and countless birds. All set in a beautiful hand crafted building with handcrafted furnishings. In the garden there were many places to sit and relax and have a quiet beer, including hammocks and a covered hanging day bed, pond areas with flowering waterlilies. The salt water pool was a delight on a warm day.

Lovely building and facilities. lots of attention to detail, practical features and very consistently styled, perfect for the style of property. Fantastic service with wholesome home cooked food and a great selection of drinks. Beautiful bed linen. Owners work very hard to deliver a special stay. A memorable experience, wish we could have stayed longer. Kangaroos aplenty around the property. we didn’t get to use the pool but it looked great.

It was a wonderful relaxing place to stay The surroundings are so peaceful and Terry and Greg make you feel right at home.The work they have done around the place is absolutely amazing Our meals for dinner and breakfast were beautiful home cooked meals We were welcomed with a drink and cheese board on arriving We will be back If you want a piece of paradise this is it!!!!

Our stay at Clarence River B and B was exceptional, from the location to the hospitality, the magnificent woodwork throughout to the comfort provided and the delicious home-cooked meal. Terry and Greg’s friendly kangaroo was an added enjoyable feature. This place was definitely a ‘find’ and we will endeavour to stay here again. Excellent in every way!

The host was amazing. Text us through the night as we were running late and even offered to put a pizza in for us Terry was such a lovely lady and breakfast watching the kangaroos was a lovely enjoyable meal sitting on the outside tables Will def recommend for anyone passing through travelling up the coast

Not the best of locations to get to. However, so glad we did as such a great place clean with a great host 👍
