Quality Inn Grafton

What fun to stay in the heritage cottage! Unique accommodation with plenty of quirks - but everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cottage was 'up the back' - and hence, delightfully quiet (despite having the guest laundry next door), with its own car parking spot at the door. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great: short walk to everything, and right opposite the mall (with excellent take-way/delivery food options).

Great location close to shops and only a few minutes to Grafton Hospital, where my husband was. Comfy Bed. Great water pressure from taps and shower rose. Housekeepers do a great job keeping the room clean and well-stocked. We live in Yamba and I appreciated staying in the Motel, so I didn't have to travel 50-minutes one-way, twice a day.

Disappointed that there was no microwave in room, until I asked for one on day three! For the price, I would have expected a microwave in each room. Also disappointing that the Restaurant/Breakfast area was closed (due to COVID), which was understandable. I had to keep adding nights, as my husband had to stay longer in hospital and I was disappointed that I wasn't given a discount (we are Pensioners) and many Motels offer 5 nights, get one free ... or 7 nights, get one free. Not so here, shame.

The continental breakfast left a bit to be desired and was not value for money

Unit was a converted house on the property which provided a large, outdoor space under the verandah which also included an outdoor setting of table and six chairs. Main bed was huge, firm and very comfortable.

A small desk but no chair. No crockery, no cutlery and no toaster.

The location was very handy, the room was a decent size, like that the room had a lounge so you didn’t have to sit on the bed all the time. Have previously stayed in the upstairs family room and it’s a great size. Have stayed here numerous times, pick a room upstairs or on the same side as the pool to avoid noise. The staff seem really nice

The ground floor unit was close to the road and there was a fair bit of noise during the night, have previously stayed here on the other side and upstairs and didn’t have a noise problem.

Location is excellent for travelers. Very close to a range of shops and restaurants. All within walking distance.

Because of fewer travelers these days, their restaurant was not open.

The owners were very friendly and were happy to tell me about places in the town. The room was well sized with a little seating arrangement facing a quiet side street and the bed was magnificent one of the most comfortable mattresses I have slept on. Next morning I saw the shower was a water saver head and I thought Oh Ho. But it was fine a good steady flow not the usually chocked water saver flow. It was pretty good. The location is across the road from woollies Dan Murphy’s etc and a street or two from the main. Plenty of cafes and eateries. Shame COVID has seen closed the motels restaurant and bar. I had an enjoyable stay in a very comfortable inexpensive motel. Happy to go back there.

Rooms were a good size. plenty of parking available. pool was clean. there was tables and chairs available in a courtyard area which was convenient. Staff were friendly upon checkin and checkout.

Great locations, opposite KFC & shopping mall but my room was facing the quiet street with beautiful green trees, 2 balconies for my room.

The pool is small & not clean. The air conditioner & the exhaust fan in the bathroom were quite noisy, especially when we couldn’t turn off the fan at all, it was on all the time:(

The facilities were very clean & easily accessible. I loved being on the lowest floor. This is the first time I have been on the lowest floor & I loved this.

I would have liked being told about WiFi it would have made my computer work of an evening so much easier. As I didn't know it was available for me on this stay, I didn't use it.
