The Middle Pub0

We had a nice stay in one of the King rooms at the Middle Pub. Despite being in the middle of Winter, we were very comfortable in this room, the bed was comfy & the AC kept the room toasty warm during the night. We'd stay again.

We’ve stayed in the normal rooms here and didn’t have the best experience so decide to upgrade to the king suite this time and we loved our stay this time! Really clean and comfy room - basic, but that’s all we needed.

Only con would be that it’s super loud as it’s an old building with no sound proofing so when the delivery truck came at 6.15am we were all woken up to loud banging noises for like 45mins and the pub can get quite loud downstairs but honestly we expected that so it was fine.

Everything!!! We are so blown away by this little gem. . Stunning King Suite with lovely, larger than life furniture. Honestly one of our favourite rooms we've ever stayed in. Spa was wonderful. Amenities were plentiful. Everything was sparkling clean. Super impressed with literally everything. Just rather annoyed we couldn't stay longer. Cherry on top was staff who made check in a dream. You will absolutely see us again. Love love love ❤️ thanks a million

Its a great pub with heaps of character. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Shared bathrooms but they are clean and plenty of towels, soap supplied. It's a heritage building so it's stood the test of time. Meals are $15..pretty much the whole menu. It's great pub food and plenty of fun entertainment especially on Friday night crapeoke! Karaoke for all without any judgement! No snobs just good old fashioned service with a smile. I love the middle pub. I will continue to support this great pub. It's a colourful collaboration of people who gather there and enjoy the simple things in life.

I love everything about this heritage building and its community

Considering the difficulty finding any vacancies that suited our needs for myself & brothers, I was grateful & thankful to find the very last family room left at The Middle Pub. Across the road was a fabulous cafe for breakfast open on Sunday morning. Thank you!!

Once again considering the excellent location & amazing value for money the only slight improvement would be somewhere communal to make a cup of tea or coffee.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. Check-in was easy and welcoming. The TV in our room wasn't working and it was attended to / replaced promptly even though it was a long weekend. The pub staff were awesome, the meals were delicious and great value for money ! Highly recommended this pub 👍

A firmer bed / mattress would have made the stay even better 😁 Maybe a couple of pot plants on the verandah in between the rooms/tables for privacy ??

Easy check-in, central location, awesome food. A beautiful, well maintained, newly renovated great place to stay... We really enjoyed our stay :)

Once the pub closed - loud, noisy intoxicated patrons returning to their rooms. But that can't really be helped. We loved our stay :)

I've definitely stayed in nicer hotels with better facilities, but what this one lacked in "extras", it made up for by having its own charm. Lovely old building, very quiet (despite being above a pub) and great staff

Couple of things, but mainly the light shining into the room through the 2nd door (why did it have 2 doors?!) at dawn. But mainly no wifi!!!

The size of the room and bed was great. Good location in the centre of town. Surprisingly quiet at night. Good water pressure and temp in the shower. Bed was very comfy with good linen

A little bit of attention on the room with dusting and a couple of light globes that had blown. Exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn't working

Check in , bistro & bar staff all excellent ! So welcoming, non pretentious, informative . The kingsize bed was amazingly comfortable, had the best night sleep & bedding was perfect ! Pillows were too ! Lived having a relaxing bath.

Only objective is the spa bath didn't work... But still , I did had a lovely hot bath.
